Default Anyone tried the pink ATG gun at ACMoores?

I saw it today at ACMoore. I've always used the Tombow adhesive but I worry that my cards will lose their "stick" after a while. I've heard the ATG gun's adhesive is much better. Is that the same as the one at ACMoores or Michaels? Do you find it sticks better? I'm really interested. It's not as expensive as the red ATG gun and smaller so it seems easier to use. Anyone have pros or cons to it?

If it is pink and green and smaller than the red ATGs, then it is a Glue Glider and not a Scotch ATG. To me, the adhesive in it seems to be about the same as you get in the red "Scrapbook Adhesive" tape roller thingies. It certainly sticks, but it's a lot more pricy than ATG refills. I don't really find the GG to be any easier to use than the ATG. Both about the same to me.

HTH~

I have a pink ATG gun coming soon in the mail. I am excited to get it. I know it uses the same adhesive as the big ones so I assume it works just as well. I will let you know when I get it. I do have a Glue Glider Pro as well that I really like but the refills are kinda pricey.

I have the Glue Glider and I like it fine. The ATG was just to big and bulky for me, I never got used to it, the GG seems more natural. The refills are really pricey though.

It's in the mail & should arrive today or Monday, I can't wait to use it. If it's like my red ATG gun (which I luv) I'm going to luv it!!! Once the tape & CS is down there's now way to move it around without tearing the CS, it sticks forever & the tape is 36 YARDS & goes a long way. Very economical in the long run, I've had mine for 3 years & couldn't go without it. I'll let you know what I think of the pink one once I get it.

The red one sold at AC Moore is just the larger Glue Glider.....same as the little pink one, just larger. Good for holding very light things......not for layering of textured or heavy card stock.

In my opinion, not worth the price. Use either the genuine ATG or Scor-Tape.

Recieved my Pink ATG gun today & it's the exact same size as my RED ATG, uses the same tape. I used to buy mine from Framingham Supplies: 3MATGTape
but found out about A-Pak Mfg.: Apakinc Packaging, Paper and Janitorial Supplies: 3M Adhesive Transfer Tape, Dispenser

A-PAK is right down the street from me so I just call her with my order & she has it boxed & ready for me to pick up, it's so great I don't have to pay for shipping.
