Since our fearless leader has stepped down and everyone seemed amenable to my stepping in, I have decided to start a new blog group thread. This is done not to confuse or forget our roots but for the ability to always be able to edit this front posting as we add or remove blogs as needed.
We had agreed to keep the group small for ease of managing our time and commitments so we won't make any changes there.
Requirements are simple:
*Update your blog at least once a week
*visit each member's blog at least once a week- preferably twice
*encourage and support each other in our creativity
*optional (send birthday cards, get well cards, etc as desired to members)
that's it!
*Make sure you list yourself as a follower on each blog in this group
*Make sure you add a blog list with our blinkie/clip art to your side bar
We will keep the same name and blinkie because well, it rocked!
Our original thread!
Note: I have changed my blog URL and wanted to make sure we all had current URLS on our posts and blog rolls on our personal blogs and to see if we can breathe life back into this blog roll with more challenges and more activity on everyone's blog!
My blog URL has been corrected above. Please let us know and I'll correct it here as well.
One down, eight to go! LOL Good to see you. I'm getting adjusted after getting back last night from The Great American Scrapbook Convention in Arlington, TX. Had such a great time! Now I'm ready to reorganize my scrap-space and find homes for all my new toys!
It is Bella - sorry about that!
Thanks so much for taking me on!
So do I just create a blogroll then with the Classy Crafters Blinkie? Where do I get this from? Super excited as this is a great group of talented ladies and I am thrilled to be part of it!!!
Enjoying finally sunny day for my favorite girl. She turned two today. God help me tomorrow having 8 toddlers over for a little Einsteins themed party. Hope it doesn't rain.
Bella! So good to meet you. Yes, start a blog roll on your blog.......and you can find our blinkie on our old thread (which is referenced at the bottom of the new original post here).
Now, for me to figure out how to get that blinkie someplace others can get to it here. Hmmmmmm. More homework!
and do we have a set of member addresses/birthdays so we can send them cards??
I was thinking this too. In my other blog group we did a questionnaire to help get to know each other better, and it had address' etc on it too. Do you want me to do one for this group?
ETA: I've just updated my blog list and realised that for some reason I didn't have Jamie added before. I am so, so sorry! You are now added and I am following you. Sorry again!

I've updated my blog with our new members as well as my adventures at the recent Great American Scrapbook Convention. Now onto work; I have a ton of jail mail to get out this week.
WOW! I just added the links to the sidebar of my blog and then went and checked out what everyone has been working on. You ladies are incredible!!! I love the projects, cards, stories, and such!
I've also become a follower of your blogs.
This is going to be incredibly fun! Thank you for letting me be part of the Classy Crafters!
hi guys! yay! new thread new members. sorry but i'm deep in cleaning my scraproom every little crevice. hopefully be on tomorrow.:p

i have like 4 projects that need to be loaded into my blog but YET again it is missing. Last time it went missing i found it in the doll house. I guess it IS my fault for getting the pretty blue camera.

Yes that's on my list of things to do..........now how to do that? That's the question. Did we have a link or what? I think I saved it to my desktop then used it in my blog. I'll figure something out!
Glad you like it! A wonderful legacy from our founding leader.
Now to some questions today....as I work diligently (well sort of) in my craft studio/ministry office to get some organization going, it occurs to me that I spend so much time on swaps that are due I barely have time for fun creativity, its almost become a job! How many bloggers out there are swappers as well?
I'm honestly thinking of giving up swapping for the rest of the year to spend more time on my own books/cards and projects because swaps are just taking away from what I really want to focus upon.
i'm a swapper... i used to be constantly working on swaps with a little bit of business here and there and like you, found that i didn't have time for myself. now that business has picked up, i had to sit down and re-prioritize and realized that after business, i wanted it to be me time, and then swap time. but i can't give them up completely... i still have a few swaps queued up but after that i think i'll just do one here and there. maybe a few times a year instead of the 1-2 a month thing i had going for the first 1/2 of the year.
one major thing i realized is that when you stop swapping so much, you realize how much you spend on postage alone!! another good reason for me to step back!!
Here is the questionnaire I have for us. It's a combination of the question of the days from Carla and the questionnaire the other group I am in did. If you all e-mail your answers to me I will put them all onto one document and e-mail them out to everyone.

Good Morning! Thursdays are fun on my blog. This summer I'm going to yard sales... I actually do that every summer... and I've challenged myself to buy something that I can use in a card creation each week. It can be anything! I'm happiest when it isn't an actual paper-crafting item, although I have purchased those, too. On Thursday I post the creation... It's my Treasure Hunt post. If you check it out today, I hope you'll like it! ;)
