I have the 3 packs of paper out right now.... It isn't like Baja Breeze at all. It is close in color to Bermuda Bay, a bit less green and lighter. I also pulled out a piece of Cool Caribbean and it is between B.B. and C.C. It looks lovely with both shades. Hope that helps.
I just got Hawaiian Shores CS yesterday...it's definitely different from turquoise. It's more of an aqua tone (a greener blue...if that makes sense). It's a lighter shade of Bermuda Bay.

I've read several people who say their Hawaiian Shores ink doesn't match the paper. I see that but HS still looks like turquoise to me.

I just received HS cardstock, ink and 2 ribbons and LOVE the color, but am very disappointed that the grosgrain ribbon does not match the cardstock in the least. It is WAY more green toned. But the satin ribbon is pretty close.
Regarding the ink. It is pretty close, but a touch darker. Actually, I tested out my Cool Caribbean ink and it is nearly a perfect match!
I have the cardstock, satin ribbon and ink. the Satin ribbon is a perfect match. I read on the PTI forum board to take a spoon and smoosh really really hard the ink to stir up the colors. In my experience the blue ink was on top and the green was on the bottom and smooshing worked. Now the ink is a pretty good match.
Love this color!! Glad to get a heads up on the grosgrain, as that is what I usually buy...

I have the HS grosgrain and I think its a good match. I just used some the other day. I also have the satin and twill and I think both of those match well also. My ink was worthless and would never mix, no matter how I smooshed
Thanks for the info. I should have checked their forum. My ink doesn't match at all!!! Very disappointed that they continue to sell a product that is so poor.

They have actually discontinued their inks and have switched manufacturers because of the ink issues. The new inks are supposed to be available in October!
