What is the best circle cutter???

I want to be able to cut out circles in just about any size I want. What is the best tool to do that? I have seen the EK sucess circle scissor, there is a fiskars one, thought I saw a new one advertised in a mag but can't find it anywhere. Can someone help me out here?

I have the Creative Memories cutting system, and I love it. For me personally, I find it easier to use than the Coluzzle. I did go crazy and buy all the shapes, though, and I really only use the circles and ovals.

I could never get the hang of Coluzzle. I use the Curvy Cutter and love it.

Try as many as you can before you buy anything! For small circles, I think the paper punches are best.

For larger projects, I prefer Coluzzle - but about half of my customers have problems with it at my workshops.

I threw away a CM system after ruining one too many photographs, but my SIL won't use anything else (side note: she wanted to show me how great it is, and ruined another of my photos while ''demonstrating'' - so maybe the problem was where I got my photos developed).

I've never tried the Curvy Cutter, but I've seen an online demo and it looks interesting.

I always tell my customers to TRY IT FIRST!

I have the creative memories cutter and love love love it!!!! Like Carla L, I had to have all the shapes but only use the circle and oval.

I just recently bought the Curvy Cutter, have only used it a couple times, but found it to be very easy to use. The concept is similiar to the CM system, but I believe it has more choices size-wise. I have used CM and Coluzzle also, but they always seemed like more of an effort.

What she said. Except I've used my Curvy Cutter a bunch, and am now ready to part with ALL of my other various systems (including my CM cutters, which I used to think that you'd have to pry them out of my cold, dead hand).

So, yeah... another vote for the Curvy Cutter!

I need some advice...I just broke down and got the Curvy Cutter and It seem to be "stuck" and not glide as seen on how to videos. It "jumps the track" EVERY TIME and I am frustrated. I would appreciate any advice.

I rubbed an ever so tiny bit of Vaseline on the metal prongs and just doing a "dry run" it seems to be gliding a little better....I am going to play with it more tonight and tomorrow. I did not want to "glop" on any lubricant so I just rubbed a tiny bit in my palms and once it was absorbed into my skin I rubbed the prongs onto my palms.

I also use the CM circle (and oval) cutting system. I like the fact you can expand on the system to cut other shapes. So far I have not yet had any problems. I do have the newer blades, I believe they redesigned them? Wondering if the ones that had trouble with them was using the older design.

Can anybody give some insight or clarification on that?

Well, for small circles, I agree, the punches work good, for awhile... then they get dull.
I purchased a Silhouette SD digital cutting machine and I have to say, I'm IN LOVE!! No, Joke! I had to cut circles (about 30) for a stamp camp, and I just drew one circle with the software program that comes with it, copied and pasted it and cut them all out quick as anything!! The designs they have for this machine are great but the fact that I can draw anything I want to cut out is just too cool to be believed.
And I can press scraps onto the cling carrier sheets that go through the machine and cut smaller things out.
Now, with all the new colors of vinyl cling in the new catty, I can't wait to cut up a bunch of stuff for wall decorations, etc.
I have the SU circle cutter, and I really hate it... you can't cut things out without them slipping all over or taping them down. I really have had NO luck with it and it wastes paper.

Don't laugh... but my fave tool for cutting circles is a good ol fashioned compass. I draw the size I want then cut with scissors

I tried that when I first started scrapbooking 25 years ago. After the circle being 5x smaller then it was to be I gave up. I can't cut straight at all. I need my machines/tools for cutting.

Okay, so I LOVED my CM cutter. Sold it for the Curvey Cutter. Can't stand the Curvey Cutter and re-purchased the CM cutter again. LOL! Now I have a Curvey Cutter just sitting here looking at me.
