What is CAS?
CAS is an acronym for Clean and Simple.
There are different ways people view CAS. It is very subjective. There is no list of rules that will fit everyones personal definition. The following are possible guidelines, only. Please do not feel afraid of playing in the CAS challenge or debate with yourself if youve created a CAS card. If it is a CAS card to you, put CAS in the keyword box.
1. Clean: the design is uncluttered with lots of white or open space. Simple: having a clear focal point without a lot going on to detract from it.
OR
2. simple in design regardless of the number of embellishments or how long it takes to color, stitch or to use a special technique
OR
3. can be copied and mass produced fairly quickly usually without a lot of coloring, layers, embellishments, tools and/or techniques
OR
4. any combination of the above
************************************************** ******* This week, we are having a theme challenge: Things That Fly
There are so many possibilities! Have fun with it!
Uploading: Remember the keyword is without spaces. Use a comma between keywords with a space after each comma.
If you are new to the challenges, please feel free to do this one or ANY of the challenges at any time. There is no time limit. They are not races to see who can do one first, nor are they contests of any sort. All the challenges are simply to provide inspiration and to get us stamping!

Thanks for a great challenge Boo! It helped me break out of a rut and come up with a new idea for some prototype wedding invites that I am trying to design.
A wonderful "wide open" challenge, Jen! I decided to combine my card with the TLC for today. I don't think it was totally successful, so if I have time, I'll come back and do one just for this challenge. Thanks for today's CAS!
I couldn't resist the flying challenge. And don't laugh, for me this is really CAS. Just a little punching and a couple of cut items (I like to cut out and I'm really quick at it!) CAS is a real bear for me and that's why I rarely attempt it. Anyway, here's my Another Year...
Thanks so much for looking!

This is a new and fun challenge, and one that I don't think I've seen anywhere to make something that flies. Combining this with your color challenge at Christian Paper Crafts is the push that I need with those great and challenging colors to use on things that fly. Putting the thinking cap on now.
