As much as I would LOVE to take responsibility for this color combo, I cannot. I sort of pulled the colors right out of one of the papers in the Basicgray cappella collection. GORGEOUS and so different! Never been done before either! Shocking, really! This is one amazing color combo with dessert and a cherry! I can hardly wait to see what you do with these colors!
CC273: Cocoa Banana Gardens!
Close to Cocoa
Barely Banana
Garden Green
Neutrals white, ivory, black, sahara sand
Dessert option: Flourishy pearls or gems stickers! Started seeing these little swirly embellishments all over. They just add that little something extra! Love that! Add alittle bit or a whole bunch and embellish it up! Do not have any yet? Faux some!
Cherry on the top: A touch of Soft Sky! (very pale sky blue color) Many of you mentioned that you still have some of the old In Colors. And, many of you said that we can list the names and everyone just find the closest match that they have. So, for the cherry on the top...you can add a few touches of soft sky to this color combo! Not a lot....just a bit since it is just a cherry!
My surprise sample makers are the first two to post a card! Thanks a bunch for working fast! Wanda and Sue you both won the sample spots!
Please keep in mind, too, that while we list SU colors for the challenges these are just color reference points. Use the closest colors you have. We want everyone to be able to play!!!
Please put CC273 in your keywords section (and if you have more than one challenge use a comma to separate them) so we can find your card! If you need help uploading click here!
I will be hosting the color challenges for the next few weeks. If there is a color combo you want to see using any of the new in colors, please pm me with the link to the card. Try to stay within three color choices. Thanks so much!
Can't wait to try this combo Betty. Thanks for the early post.

I was down to my last sheet of Garden Green and last sheet of Barely Banana, but eeked out THIS CARD.

I GOT TO PLAY!!! I can't even remember the last time that I actually got to play in a colour challenge! Yippee! Thanks for the awesome colours Betty!!!
Hi Betty. I don't do color challenges often. I am so glad I did today. It got me to use colors I may not otherwise. Thank you for that. Here is my Clean And Simple Tent Card.
These are great colors, Betty! I felt sort of a "natural" feeling from them so went that route. I did not add the "extras" and used colors that came what I hope is close to the SU ones. Thanks for another great challenge.
Betty, I loved your colors so much today, that I decided to do another card. This time I had more green ion my card. You come up with the best combos...we all notice things out in the world, but sometimes we don't SEE them!
Wow, Betty, thanks for the honor! A BIG thanks to all of you who have been so kind to encourage me on my card today. Bless you for spreadin' the lovin'.

Great challenge, Cappella happens to be one of my current favorites so when I saw this forum, I knew I had to play! Thanks for the ideas!
Here is my card:
Thanks Betty for another great color combination. I liked it so well, I did two cards Friendship Wreath and Lovely Tree. I think I like the tree better.
