IFC75 5/24/10 {Flower Power}

According to the calendar of month-long observances, May is "Flower" month. So, in honor of "Flower" month I challenge you to create a scrapbook page either using pictures of flowers, events with flowers in them such as weddings, or using any of your flower themed supplies. This can include primas, die-cut flowers, flower stickers, felt flowers, flower stamps, etc. The sky is the limit here. Digi Divas feel free to play along with your digi supplies.

I know that the school year is coming to a close and everyone is preparing for proms, graduations, and other special events so, I wanted this to be a super easy challenge that anyone could play along with. I spent most of yesterday helping my niece Kimberleigh prepare for the prom myself and then taking lots of photos. So, I know how time consuming these events can be yet at the same time tons of fun and memories to be made. I don't at the moment have a sample page for you but will be back later on with one.

I also wanted to share that I was offered a position on the Design Team of Christian Paper Crafts Magazine/Forum. After prayerful consideration I have decided to except this offer. Christian Paper Crafts has become my home away from SCS. When I am not here I am there. I will be hosting their Sketchy Tuesday challenges as well as participating in their company sponsored blog hops. The invitation came as a complete surprise to me and I feel blessed to be able to take on this wonderful opportunity to share my love of Christ through paper-crafting. This offer will not effect my duties here at SCS and I will not be leaving the forum or abandoning my positon as your Inspiration Challenge Hostess. You all know how I feel about SCS and the friendships I have made here mean the world to me. Many of you have become like family to me. It's just that at this time in my life, I have a lot of free time on my hands and I while I am fortunate to only work part-time I feel I should be going after some of those dreams and getting things done that are on my "bucket list". KWIM?

Well, this is the last challenge for May so I wish you all a wonderful Memorial Day...may you be blessed and safe during the holiday. If you have travel plans please be careful out on the highways.

Our next challenge was originally scheduled for June 14th because I was posting on the 2nd and 4th Mondays only but, I have decided to just go with every other Monday instead. So, I will see you back here on June 7th with a brand new series of challenges I am gonna take you through. We did a color series awhile back and that seemed to go over really well. So, without giving away the name of the series just be thinking "design".

Hmmm, flowers, huh? As you seem to have guessed, I have both primas and digi flower elements aplenty, so I'll be sure to do a page or two for this challenge. Congrats on the DT and challenge hosting positions for Christian Paper Crafts, Jennipher -- they're smart to have asked you--they obviously knew a good thing!!!
