Lovely as a Rickrack Print
My card for tonight's colour challenge is here. Incorporating the grey into any colour scheme is a challenge for me. I made it work here by keeping it to a minimum.
I didn't have Going Gray - so I colored the edges of Whisper White with the Going Gray marker to be a legit participant in this challenge. I love the Red Riding Hood with Always Artichoke -- the "challenge" for me was adding in the Going Gray. I was pleased with the outcome though. Here's the finished card.
Chiming in a bit late here... Emily, I'll forgive you for doing an almost-repeat, if you'll forgive me for doing an almost-the-right-colors...JK! Seriously, though - I'm still in the process of acquiring, so I do what I can... My card is here: Glitter Tree by gregzgurl at Splitcoaststampers
Thanks for looking!
I seem to struggle with the going gray part of these color challenges because that is not typically a color a reach for, so I found a way to use it in moderation. I like gray with certain colors like pink or purple, but with most other colors, I tend to think my cards come out looking too gloomy with it, so hopefully this isn't that way because I made about four other cards for this challenge that I didn't like so well (those will be mailed to the relatives out of state LOL!)
I finally got a chance to participate! Yeah....hopefully I can keep coming back each week...I love the color challenges. Here's my take on the combo: GRRRRRR....

I am very far behind in the challenges....I've had the "crud" for two weeks and have not felt like making cards (thought they might have to call an undertaker). Anyway, feeling better finally and have begun to try to catch up. Here is my color challenge card for this week:
I must admit I'm not crazy about this color combo....I tried different variations with and without dp but in the end I went with this and it turned out ok.
What do you think? tfl & I always appreciate your comments!!!
