Does anyone know if there is a projected ship date for the new Tim Holtz Embossing Folders?? AKA: Tim Holtz Alterations Texture Fades??
I preordered all of them from Cropstop and the only thing it says is *Shipping in March*...well now that it's March, I am dying to know if it's going to be the very end of March or if they are being shipped to retailers now???

Tell me what you find out - I REALLY need that damask one. It's bigger than the CB damask and I'm hoping if I can talk my cousin into 5x5 instead of 6x6 for her wedding invites, that the TH Damask will be big enough almost to cover the front.
I was just at ScrapyLand.com and I cannot find even a mention of the Tim Holtz folders...can you give a link?

Finally found them. It says it is a Pre-Order but then it says it is In Stock. So I don't know but I'm going to place the order anyway because I really need that folder.
I am pretty sure they are shipping to the stores in the next few weeks. Then depending on how, long it takes for them to process it...
I have most of his new dies. If you go to my blog you can see them used- you might have to scroll down the page. I think they were posts from the end of Feb. - beginning of March.
the folders are definitely not in stock anywhere yet because they have not been sent out BUT the last word i got from ranger was end of march/early april. the dies might be out sooner - my ranger rep thought maybe this week but i have not received mine yet or gotten a notice..........it is so HARD to wait isn't it!??!?!?
I pre-ordered from Cropstop because any time I have done preorders before, they seem to come pretty quickly from them...and they had the best price on the set of ALL 8 sets of folders with a 10% off coupon that was valid on their pre-orders.
It ended up being $63 for 16 folders including shipping! Well I added a few border dies too...so that COULD HAVE BEEN my total...LOL

the link on the Scrapyland page is under "Coming soon/Preorders" then click on Sizzix preorders, then on Tim Holtz. Most of the items are shown as "in stock". There's a note that your credit card won't be charged until the item is shipped. My card has been charged for the items I bought, including 2 On the Edge dies and 2 embossing folders.

some stores HAVE begun receiving their dies just no embossing folders yet...
Yes, I received one of the Alterations dies (to make tabbed pages for mini-scrapbooks) this week from scrapbook.com. They have more, but not all, of the new dies in stock. It looks like the folder are still not in stock.
I'd like to have all the new distress ink colors myself. Wonder when they will ship? I need to check out these TH embossing folders and dies. I know I'm going to need those as well. They do fit in the CB don't they?

actually i have 3 full sets of the new ink pads and 2 full sets of the new reinkers that i would like to *unload* and will give 25% off - just PM me.
i DID receive two dies today - the scallop border and the plaque n postage borders - but none of the others. my ranger rep has not responded to my email yet on dates for the others...........
So these things are supposed to be in stores by the end of this week right??? I saw some people that preordered got theirs yesterday. Anystores have them yet?
mine are coming from ranger and my rep says they aren't getting them until next friday so any stores ordering through ranger still have to wait....WAHHHHHHH
Ok NOW I can excited - even if I have to wait until next week for it to ship. It was beginning to feel like they never would! My order still shows processing.
Now if I could just figure out when those new ProvoCraft ones will be shipping.

She indicated she didn't know which ones will come first/later. So I just have to wait.

LOL Anyway I emailed Cropstop and (is it Hailie??) she said for only $3 she would send them in two shipments as they arrive instead of me having to wait till they are all in.

I have the Damask. I would not call the a fade - but I still like it.
So it doesn't fade a lot? That's actually good for me. I was worried about the fade on it, for what I am needing it for. I just wish mine would hurry up and get here.

She was really sweet and sent out my European exclusive folder I ordered now, because the Provo Craft one that was supposed to be sent to her in February still isn't there. She's so sweet! I love her voice, too.
Nothing on my huge order from ScrapyLand, which unfortunately I combined folders with the new dies, and they won't send till it's all together, yes, I was warned. I've broken down and bought lots more of the TH dies at Archivers since the couple months I've been waiting. Scrapy Land did tell me that the folders are slowly coming in. I hope I'm next.

I would show you what it looks like but unfortunately the mojo is missing and all I have done is emboss core dinates paper and sand it. It looks nice.
