WELCOME TO TEAPOT TUESDAY AND CHALLENGE #92
ABRACADABRA, HOCUS POCUS!!
HOW DO I KNOW MY CARD IS IN FOCUS??
Note: Anyone is welcome to play! Also, you do not have to write a story. You just have to be inspired by the teapot or by the story about this week's location! Have fun!
This is my story!
Special Note: Sorry for the late upload. I was waiting to see how things would shake out this morning at SCS! As you all know we have been asked not to upload to the gallery until SCS has things squared away. It seems cards have been disappearing, are not viewable, are sometimes replaced with red X's! After reading my challenge you will know it might be my fault! Snort! Don't tell anyone what I brought to the Tea Party this week! I don't wanna get kicked outa SCS!
1. If Teapot Tuesday was a race, I think I would be winning! Not because I would be winning, but because I am so far behind, it's like I'm in first!! I honestly can't believe how fast Tuesday snuck up on me! Being out of town didn't help but I am usually a little more on top of stuff! Heck, I haven't even commented on last week's cards and today a whole nuther teapot gallery will begin to magically appear! And that's not the only thing I have not done! Giggle!
2. Speaking of magic, this cute little teapot has just got to be straight outa the Magical Teapot Hall of Fame! It's gotta be! The black top hat, the magically appearing rabbit, the playing cards, and of course, the magical wand. And if all that is not enough, something magically strange happened to my card when this little teapot arrived. It disappeared! I know, I know, it seems a little fishy but I am not telling you a story, feedin' you a line! I made the cutest little card, the spittin' image of this teapot and once it was in the presence of this teapot, it magically disappeared! Just look at it below! It's not there! The only thing left is my watermark and Marilynn's wee little teapot pin! Yikes!!

How do I know my card is in focus?
3. Here's the trick Mick! Mick is David Copperfield's mentor! He's made 42,000 items disappear in his illustrious career! He taught David everything he knows! We are off to experience David Copperfield's magic, try to get a few pointers, tips, lessons in magic. Maybe meet the talented magician that is responsible for my card disappearing, magically removed with the watermark still there!! How might we bring it back? AbraCaDabra, Hocus Pocus!! How do I know if my card was in focus? Snort!
4. Just in case this little teapot and its magical abilities are too much for David to compete with and he can't solve the mystery of my disappearing card, then let's bring some magic of our own! We'll teach him how to make things disappear! Bring a card, any card, the sky's the limit, but in your commentary, you have to inform us of what was magically removed from it! What you made disappear, what was once there but is no longer!
Whut? I hope you guys don't think I am pulling your leg about my card magically disappearing! You might be thinking that I made this story up, never made a card in the first place! Well, I may have told a story or two in the past but I can guaranty that this challenge is not in the world of make believe. Its true, its for real! My card is simply not there and I sorta suspect it will never show up!! So show me your wonderful card inspired by this magical little teapot and let's hear about what you made disappear on your card! Remember, the sky is the limit, no requirements here!

Have all the replies disappeared or am I first? I think my whole life qualifies for this challenge, as there are at least 42,000 items that have disappeared from my RV! When I make cards the image I just colored can some times vanish!
Now this challenge is certainly that - I need to think about that one LOL!
Welcome back, Cindy. And I hope you are not fretting about comments for last week - we certainly understand.

Stamping is magic, because stuff disappears all the time. I could make a card in half the time if images, stamps, adhesive and embellies didn't disappear off my desk every time I worked on a card.

Eek, I'll having to get a thinking hat on pronto for this - or maybe that top hat?
I'm sorry I didn't know it was Pat's birthday, I only just updated my list last week and got organised for May; at least I know I am not losing it altogether. I'm hoping Joan's house doesn't disappear when my card gets there, like it did last year ;-).
Still seems to be preferred that we don't upload, so I'll practice some Patience with that deck of cards.

OMG! When I was in Minnesota you all got goofier!! Who'd a thunk! Giggle! Okay, we gotta really learn some stuff from Copper-Baby. We got the SCS website to fix, we got time to stop, we got disappearing houses (Joan's) to find, we got birthday years to get rid of, we got missing stamping supplies, 42,000 of them. We gotta do alot of stuff today! Has anyone seen David? Oh no, don't tell me Mick disappeared him????? Snort!

As it seems we're still not meant to upload till maybe tomorrow, I'm sticking mine here as an attachment temporarily. I had a head-wrecking day at work, and having got my bunny made, I don't want him to disappear in the gallery. I'll upload it into my gallery tomorrow with full details.
What's missing is batteries for my flash, to use off-camera, ha ha. This will go to my nephew tomorrow saying maybe he can change the money inside into something he'd like. But I hope I'll be able to take a better picture when I can use my flash.

Waiting for the gallery to open was trying my patience - then I missed the announcement LOL!
Having something disappear is pretty easy for me - just figuring out how to make it relate to a card was the challenge. Guess that is why this is called a challenge, right?
I did find a couple of helpful ideas for David - do you suppose he will see our tips?

Hocus Pocus????
So there I was minding my own business making a card with my new Manhatten Flower EF, and I swore I colored the roses and butterflies. I stepped away because of 42,000 phone calls and when I came back the only color left on the card was the yellow butterfly and a little moonlight white ink (Brilliance) Hocus Pocus????? First the color . . . by Gale R at Splitcoaststampers . Well that was okay as I love grey and yellow and the yellow butterfly has special meaning (it reminds me that my late mother is watching over me). But then whe I got up this morning and looked at the card again - hey where did the yellow butterfly go????? Hocus Pocus????? Then the butterfly by Gale R at Splitcoaststampers Darn that Mick and his David Copperfield magic!
Gaaaaaaaaaaahhhhh - and then after my cards disappeared and I reposted them the keyword on the repost "disappeared". Once the cards are reapproved all should be right in SCS world >

My card disappeared on Tuesday and I just got it back up. No rhyme this time.
Actually what really disappeared from my life was Monday. My husband took me out to lunch on Tuesday and I mentioned I was doing laundry and getting caught up and "Mondays are always like that" --- he looked at me kindly and spoke very slowly as he told me it was indeed Tuesday ... ahhhh. This is what it is going to be like getting old ... so what I was missing this week was Monday which appeared on Tuesday and made my card late till Friday. Go figure.
