What is CAS?
CAS is an acronym for Clean and Simple.
There are different ways people view CAS. It is very subjective. There is no list of rules that will fit everyones personal definition. The following are possible guidelines, only. Please do not feel afraid of playing in the CAS challenge or debate with yourself if youve created a CAS card. If it is a CAS card to you, put CAS in the keyword box.
1. Clean: the design is uncluttered with lots of white or open space. Simple: having a clear focal point without a lot going on to detract from it.
OR
2. simple in design regardless of the number of embellishments or how long it takes to color, stitch or to use a special technique
OR
3. can be copied and mass produced fairly quickly usually without a lot of coloring, layers, embellishments, tools and/or techniques
OR
4. any combination of the above
************************************************** ******* CAS Challenge: Theme Mother's Day or May Flowers
I goofed up last week with a communication error. So we have 2 guest designers this week
Uploading: Remember the keyword is without spaces. Use a comma between keywords with a space after each comma.
If you are new to the challenges, please feel free to do this one or ANY of the challenges at any time. There is no time limit. They are not races to see who can do one first, nor are they contests of any sort. All the challenges are simply to provide inspiration and to get us stamping!

Reason: link
Too funny that I uploaded my Mother's Day card last night and it has flowers! I think it would be cheating to include that card on this challenge so I'll see if I can create a variation after work today. Meanwhile, here is the link to my other card uploaded Sunday night.

CAS65 Sweet Pea Cameo
HERE is mine. Hope you can see it...all I see is the "red x syndrome" on what I have uploaded the past couple of days. Hope they get this fixed soon...nothing seems to work on my end. At least when you click on it comes up but you have to be overly curious to even click on something that you can't even see to start with, lol. Anyway, my cardbase is Cameo Coral, my image is a digital image from Bird's Card's found here: http://www.birdscards.com/
I colored the image with Copics, punched the corners, added crocheted lace and embossed the corner. The sentiment is from Teeny Tiny Wishes, stamped in Cameo Coral and punched with the Word Window Punch. Hope you like it...this challenge is my favorite of all - I enjoy clean & simple cards!
Fun challenge, Jen! The site is going SO SO slow for me this AM, I decided to double up on today's CAS & TLC challenges. I wouldn't have the patience or time to see two cards go through! : ) I chose a SU stamp in hopes I wouldn't get the "red x"!...seemed to work.....so far!
