Which acrylic blocks do you like?

I own several CTMH acrylic blocks and a couple of handmade ones I bought off ebay. Now that SU has come out with acrylic blocks, I was wondering which one people prefer. I hate to replace my CTMH ones, but I do like the smooth edges and thickness of the SU ones. I also saw on the PTI site the rock-a-blocks and wondered if those were good to use. I liked the idea of the grid across the block--another kind I saw on PTI-- but the block was only one size and I tend to like using blocks sized closely to my stamp.

I do have some of the new SU ones and they are nice too, but I wish they had gridlines. I use the long one for background building stamping.

I have to say I really like the SU ones. I have a craft store cheapy and it can't begin to compare. I have never used CTMH though so I can't really compare them fairly BUT the you're right, the thickness and rounded edges all the way around for gripping are great. Very comfortable to use. My cheap one makes my fingers hurt:-) I'm very happy with them and soon will have the whole set. I've been nothing but happy with them and I'm pretty much getting unmounted from here on out I think!

I have the CTMH set and only 2 SU! block. I truly like the SU! ones betters as I too like th grooves all the way around the block. I seem to have a habit of dropping them after I have them inked up and ruin lots of stuff. The SU! are much easier to grasp at any angle. Just my opinion, but I will be investing in more of the SU! blocks.

Have several blocks like the CTMH but don't own any, tried the new SU blocks and I so LOVE them WANT THEM BAD!!!!! Yes I must have them all,my only regret is they don't have one the size of the unmounted wheels. I can not afford to buy them yet,have the cheapos for now,...am buying them for myself for my bday this fall. It's all in the ridges,better grip,you then have the visual and manual control.

There are different ones and I have most of the round ones with gridlines as well as some of the larger rectangular ones.

Another vote for the Inkadinkado blocks. I got mine cheap from Joanns and Michael's with a coupon. I love the gridlines.

I had my DH make mine. He got acylic and cut them to the sizes I wanted. I have several blocks for about $10
I know there are the grid line overlays you can buy and I am going to order some of them as I love grid lines also.

I'm curious to see if there will be some gridline things in the new SU catty in July! CTMH has some do they not? I think I remember seeing them sometime.

I have both CTMH and SU blocks. Both are easy to hold. Both are thick. CTMH has a line on the bottom that I particularly like. I won't be replacing my CTMH ones, but will fill in for the sizes I don't have. I already got the biggest SU one for the background-sized stamps.

I also have a couple of gridline blocks that are odd sizes. They have the wavy edge to make them easy to hold.

Then I have one set of cubes. I just looked to see if I could find them online and don't see them anywhere so I assume they are no longer available. But I really love them. They run from 3/4 to 1-1/2 inch square and I really like them for small stamps.

I unmount my wheels and I use the largest SU block, it hangs off a bit, but the block is still larger than a standard card so I don't mind. If you were using for a scrapbook page, yes, then it wouldn't work.

Another Inkadinkado block user here. I like that they are "wavy" on the edges and you can really get a good grip on them! I got mine at JoAnn's with a coupon.

Make it another. The wavy edges make them easy to hold and the gridlines are fantastic for lining up clear sentiment stamps.
