First and foremost, I would like to thank Vicki (vdutcher) for stepping up and helping out last week. Vicki did an incredible job. Although my aunt Marci is still not out of the woods, she is battling like a trooper. I appreciate all the prayers, too.
I am always amazed at the diversity of styles here on Splitcoaststampers. We are truly a melting pot of stampers. You can find scrap bookers, clean and simple card makers, embellishing card makers and the alterers. Now those words may not be in the dictionary, but you all know what I’m talking about!
Back when I was a part of the Dirty Dozen, we use to do a team challenge called More is More. The idea was to take a somewhat clean and simple card and add MORE to it to make it not so clean and simple.
~ Ramp it Up (or Down)! ~
So my challenge for you today is this…. If you are a clean and simple stamper, I want you to choose a card from your gallery (any card!) and make a MORE card. If you are an embellishing card maker (such as myself), then you are to take a card from your gallery (any card!) and make a clean and simple card based on that. Please note: You do not need to ‘remake’ the original, just use it as your guide.
So to break it down, you can either:
Pick a clean and simple card and make it a MORE card
or
Pick a More (embellished) card and make it a clean and simple card
When you upload your creation, please link to the original card in your gallery so we can see the changes you’ve made!
I need 36 hours in my day so that I can do the challenges again! This looks like so much fun, Holly! I must try to squeeze it in!!!! Or retire . . . tomorrow!

Ditto what Christine said about time. This would be a REAL challenge for me, but it's another busy week - and right now I should be making a start on the housework.
Your More is More is gorgeous, Holly.
Thanks for another great challenge Holly. Have to go to work and the dentist first, then I can play! Glad to see you back.....prayers for your aunt.

I love rubber's Gallery at SplitcoaststampersI checked through my gallery I decided I definitely had to do a ramp down. This is an experiment, if this doesn't attach like I'm hoping it will the original card is on page 3 of my gallery "I'm Feeling Springy"
OK the experiment failed. The newest card is evident but I will have to do some research on what I did wrong. Holly thankyou so much for all the trouble you went to in an attempt to make me "link savvy".
and a "ramped up" or should I say, "gussied up" version. My female friend is still not a real girly-girl but she certainly needed a fancier version of the original western themed card!
This was a fun challenge, I often wonder if I went back to a card what would I change, but rarely make one again.
I originally made a simple engagement card quite some time ago, using limited ink Perfect Plum and limited paper: Engagement Card by beetle76 at Splitcoaststampers
This time I did the same, but with Rich Razzleberry tones, I had lots of fun adding some extra techniques and ideas and am very pleased with what I ended up with! Engagement Card - 2 by beetle76 at Splitcoaststampers
Thanks for the challenge!
