Default stamp cleaning pad

are we supposed to replace these? I don't even know when I bought mine..... and i have noticed that it leaves a color on my acrylic stamps when I clean them....

i would think it needs cleaning ever so often from the buildup of ink. If that pad is removable, i would use soap and hand wash it. Then let it air dry.

I generally suds mine up in the sink in a strong Simple Green soak. Use a fingernail brush to agitate it and help the ink residue to release, then rinse it really well and let it dry overnight in the drainer. I do this whenever it starts to show residue after cleaning stamps, or when using lots of black ink - anytime from after one use (lots of black ink use) or a week of so of mild use.

oh good, so I can use a mild soap. I rinsed it off really well with warm water today until the water ran clear and then let it air dry, I haven't tried it yet, but it looks much cleaner!
