I am soooooo loving the change of seasons ... and the fact that my front yard is not covered in white snow (although it DID snow a little over a week ago). The crocus are blooming, the birds are chirping, and I DID see a butterfly the other day.
With all this lovely weather, I am feeling the need to GO somewhere and DO something. Sadly, school is still in session and we aren't planning any HUGE trips any time soon. Soooooo, I decided it would be fun for all of us to take a VIRTUAL vacation. Make a card that evokes memories of some fantastic vacation you HAVE been on, or one that inspires you to dream of the vacation you would LIKE to take (or perhaps may be planning!). I, for one, can TOTALLY picture myself on a beach somewhere, cool fruity drink in my hand, and a wonderful book to read whilst I sit under a very LARGE umbrella!!

Great challenge, Wendy. Everybody needs a little down time!!! I started this card really early this morning, but then my neighbor invited me out to breakfast. So I'm just now finishing it. Here's my card --
If only this was a REAL and not just a virtual vacation! MY CARD

Camping in France!! That's our dream for this year, but if we took the bike, it would work out so expensive, as we'd have to eat out all the time. Vive la France
I can just taste the unique taste of a baguette, and some nice wine. Well, actually some Greek bread has a similar taste - that's our other top holiday choice.
Thanks, Wendy... a fun challenge today. There's so many places that I'd love to see, but today's card is based on one of my family's best vacations.... Disneyland!
This is my first Free For All challenge - what a terrific one too!
I love our family vacation to the mountains each summer. The slower pace, the views. One of my favorites is to see the sunrise through the mountains and to hear all the birds. Thinking of that led me to choose the hymn on my card - Behold the Dawn.
Well it is raining and gloomy where I am...so going on a virtual vacation was the perfect way to spend my morning. :p I had so much fun making my baby wipe beach card, that I had to stay longer on my virtual beach and make another card which I think I'm going to use as part of a beach scrapbook page instead of as a card.
Great Challenge! I had so much fun... read my story... I'm In A Meeting
