I've never tried Amazing Putty but I have used Mold-n-Pour many times with great results. It mixes easy and makes great molds. I have some MnP molds that I made several years ago that are still in perfect condition.

Thank you for your imput. I am surprised that I have not heard from others. Making your own mold to inturn make embelishments is so gratifying. I love to dust the inside of the mold with pearl ex and fill it with hot glue for a sparkly effect.
thanks again,

I love making my own molds as well...it is lots of fun when you find a new "goodie" worth molding. I have a couple I use all the time because they are my fav's. I use Perfect Pearls like that with UTEE & Beeswax!
You're not too far from where I live - Albion... I think you're the first person I've "met" who actually lives fairly close to NE Indiana!

I don't know the specific name of the product I use, but it's a silicone based one. One part is purple, the other is blue. You mix equal parts together to make your mold. I have a whole boxful of them! LOVE it. When I find interesting buttons or other shapes, I make a mold of it so I can reproduce as many as I want. I love making my own embellishments; I can color or alter them to exactly what I want. I like using an India ink wash to "tarnish" them and bring out the little details.
