TLC269 ~ Piercing ~ (4/19/10)

Miss Holly has asked me to cover for her this Monday. Well, OF COURSE I said yes. How nice is it to get a jump on the challenge let alone get to pick it!! I love the early posted challenges so here it is.

I made this week an easy one. Pierce your card - you can go easy, or elaborate whatever you are comfortable with. My sample is like a standard piercing - framework. I love the way it just finishes off the card. I asked my friend Joanne (jojot) to also make a sample. She does this technique with such style!!

HERE is my card for 2 challenges today: CAS63 and TLC269. For the TLC I modified the sketch by only using one image. First I paper pierced the design from In Stitchz by Bazzill and then using an embroidery needle and thread I stitched the design. On the inside of the card, I embossed GPW with D'vine Swirls ef and adhered it to the back of the front flap so that the stitching would not show when the card is opened. I also added dsp by memory box.
