Ive been receiving numerous PMs and e-mails with suggestions for the Technique Lovers Challenge and I wanted to say Thank You! I have compiled quite a list of things to do, which makes it harder and harder to choose each week! We will get to them all, I promise.
~ Inside Out ~
This week, were going to turn things inside out. When I first started making cards, once I finished the front, the card went in the done pile and I would slap a sentiment on the inside when I was ready to send it. Then one day I decided that the inside of the card should have as much character as the outside. From then on, I would match the inside with decoration. Thats what were doing today!
Our challenge today is to make a card and decorate the inside to match the outside. When uploading, you can either upload two separate pictures, or if youre savvy with photo manipulation, you can combine the pictures in one upload. I am not so savvy, so here are my two pics:
Holly, this card is amazing. So bright and your inside blew me away. What a great challenge. I don't do much on the inside. So this is a good challenge for me. Thank you.
Great technique, Holly. Like you, I usually add the inside sentiment long after I make my cards. This technique makes you do a bit of thinking so you can coordinate the inside and the outside. I had some time before I went to bed, so I made my card tonight.
I, too, cannot manipulate the photo software to get both pictures combined. Here's my card --
Thanks Holly, for a wonderful and worthwhile challenge. I like the results so well I may have to do this in the future. MAY is the operative word. thanks for really challenging me!! Hugs!

Wow Holly, you even did your envelope! I do the same thing...wait until I need the card before stamping the sentiment. Finishing the inside though does give it alot more pizzazz. Will try this later (after work).
I hope to find time to play along with this later. But with having been away for two Mondays, there is a backlog of housework I need to get on top of first, and I had to go into town after work, in the pouring rain....
I have received a couple of messages that it is taking a very long time for cards to show up in the challenge gallery. Hang tight. I have sent a message to find out what is going on, but from what I can gather, they DO eventually get there.
I need to get my boys started on their school work, then I'll be back to answer questions and look over the gallery
Holly, I'm one of those who does not usually decorate the inside of my cards. So this was a challenge for me. I like to use Copics and, of course, they tend to bleed thru the paper, especially if you are doing blending work. So I had to paper piece my "studio".
Holly, what a great challenge. I hope I'll be able to upload my card sometime today. For some reason, I haven't been able to upload a card since last Mon. Very frustrating. I hope the tech people get it fixed.
Here's my CARD for today's technique challenge. I'm glad I finally got a chance to play a Monday challenge again. It's been a while. And here's the inside view.

This is a great Challenge Holly. I also try to decorate the interiors to match the exteriors. Im like you, not too tecnically savvy for doubling up pics. That's why I try to do a side-view of my cards to hopefully capture a little bit of the inside!
I also noticed the -lengthy- times of uploaded cards getting to Challenge categories. They do get there eventually though, so that's a GOOD thing!
