Question on digital scrapbook paper

When you print out your digital scrapbook paper, what kind of printer do you use? I have an ink jet and I am afraid, well I know my ink will run. If you use an ink jet do you use special paper or do you have to have a laser printer?

When I scrap, I'm 100% digital (going on 6 years fully digital now!) and print my layouts on my Epson R1800. But on ocassion I do hybrid cards and other projects and will print out full sheets of digi paper to use. For that, I print on GP cardstock from Walmart and use my old HP and never at the highest quality. Since I end up inking, sanding, layering or stitching the paper, I don't feel like I need to use as much printer ink. I don't think anyone would ever be able tell.

In the end, I think it's definitely more economical to go w/ store bought pp unless you need something specific in a pinch. If I were a paper scrapper or big-time pp user on my cards, I wouldn't rely on the digi stuff.

Thanks hun, yes, that does help me in my decision. I make cards and see a lot of cute digital paper and would like to use it sometime, but not full time as I don't want to waste all my ink. Thanks again!

Just re-read your original question and realized that I didn't really address the running issue. If you print on plain cardstock, you shouldn't have a problem with in running. I've mod-podged over it on projects and have never had a problem. Photo paper, on the other hand, would present some problems.
