Martha Stewart hands down!!! I have several of her border punches, and am constantly on the lookout for more!! I only had trouble with one (a scallop) but Michaels took it back with no questions and no receipt!! I would highly recommend them - I absolutely LOVE mine!!!

Another vote for the MS punches. I love them and only had one that didn't work and returned it no problem. I think it had been dropped on a hard surface, the corner almost appeared to have a hairline crack but I have dropped mine plenty and never hurt them.
They are short but you just line them up with the graph and make it as long as you want it to be. I like that though, if I'm making a small card and I just want to do a piece to layer on it that's only about 2-3 inches long it's not a problem.
MS for sure! I bought some a month ago...LOVED them. I went to buy more and the "other" ones were on sale for 40 percent off. So, I caved and bought them instead (fiskers, etc). I wish I had spent the extra money and got the MS ones. They are just SOOOO beautiful.

Karen I did what you did a few months ago. I sure regretted that. A couple of those Fiskar punches ended up in the Goodwill box and one went in the trash cause it wouldn't punch anything.
Didn't even bother with trying to return or exchange them, didn't want anymore.
If you get the MS ones with coupons, they aren't to terribly bad. And now HL Is starting to carry a few of them and they have 40% off every other week usually.
MS punches hands down!!! Funny I'm on my way to the store to pick-up another set of storage drawers b/c my addiction has outgrown the current set o' drawers!! Cant get enough and I have been stalking M's to get the newest 'summer' border punches due out in April!!!
I also vote for the newer martha stewart punches with a coupon to bring the price down.
The newer punches have flip down sides to make it a longer punch to work with.
the newer two punch sets have a border and a corner punch, like this card: Tilda With Lamb Easter by transtamper at Splitcoaststampers stewart punch

I haven't seen any of the new summer punches yet at M's. I was there yesterday. Don't forget today is a 50% off one item and you can use them on MS stuff.

I haven't tried any of the MS ones. I have several of the EK ones and have had no trouble with them. The one Fiskars one I had, broke into several pieces when I tried to punch vellum with it.
I have 3 Fiskars and 3 Martha Stewart, I'd go for Martha any time I find they punch better and leave a better/cleaner cut. Fiskars I also have a punch/emboss one and I either get a good punch and bad emboss or vice versa.
They're mixed in, look for the ones that say 'pre-order shipping in April' -or something like that. I can't wait to get my hands on the seashell ones!!!!!
I used my favorite MS punch (shells) this weekend to punch both ends of 4.25 x 5.50 card fronts. The paper I used was GinaK thick paper. It was tough by the time I finished because my hand hurt but the punch was able to handle the thick cardstock. I have quite an extensive collection of MS punches...EK success too...lol
blessings.

Oh my goodness - why did you have to tell me that more punches are being released soon??!! I am sooooo addicted Well, I guess I'll just have to rationalize myself into buying a few more - I have a small amount left on a Michaels gift card, so I guess that rationalization won't be too hard ;)

I heard, but don't quote me that allegedly MS and EK are made in the same factory and by the same people but different labels, which maybe why they are both good.
I LOVE my Martha punches, they come in awesome designs and work so much better than some other companies. I have lots of Martha Stewart punches and have rarely had trouble with them. I have had bad experiences with fiskars border punches, the handles of two of mine broke. No customer service there either. So I would go with Martha Stewart or Ek success all the way! Just my opinion

i have one of the new jumbo edge punches from MS, i love it!
i cant remember the correct name but it looks like Lattice when you use it. the sides fold up to make it easier to store too, which is nice

Another vote for Martha Stewart punches. I have birds on a wire, picket fence, cupcakes, arch lattice and pop butterflies, I love them all. I use mine on Bazzill cardstock and have no trouble at all. I can't wait to get the new Monarch butterfly border one.

Hi Holly! Do you have a picture of what you mean...I'm going to buy another MS punch this payday ....I think I know what you mean but there are two that could be called that. Can you upload a card or post a link to one of your cards with this punch?

MS, hands down....I have bought so many over the past several months that I need a second hanging shoe organinzer.....I can't wait for her new ones...I want the new cupcake one! I use my 40% off coupon to make myself feel better when buying them. I only wish that she made two sizes of certain ones for layering purposes (I make flowers)...
I agree with everyone else. Martha Stewarts. I don't think there is much difference in quality, but I'm always reaching for the MS punches. I have lots of fiskars too but I tend to get tired of their designs much faster.

You are correct. If you look on the bottom it says EK on the packaging of the MS punches.
I have Fiskars, EK Success and Martha Stewart, and love them all, they all seem to have their own unique designs so I just buy what has a pattern that I like. I have only had one Martha Stewart punch stick and it was only a momentary thing, and easily unstuck. No major problems with any of the brands though.
I love all punches - Fiskars, Martha Stewart, EK Success. EK Success is great because of the slim ones and they store so well (and they have a ton of new designs out. Studio Calico has some in the shop). But Martha seems to have the best designs.
Looking at my blog I didn't realize how much I use this one - Fiskars Apron Lace ! lol
I like the MS punches and the EK success equally well but I like the style of the EK success - fold flat to store and really durable. Flatness = you can store more in a smaller space. I heard there was a whole wack of EK success coming out soon. Can't wait. Love my MS too though but wish EK had more selection so can't wait to see what's new there.
Another vote here for the MS and EK Success slimline punches! I also have Fiskars (feel flimsy) and the American Crafts knockouts (dreadful to punch and line up - wish I hadn't wasted my money on a set).
I only have acouple of MS punches, and a lot of Fiskars, bought before the MS ones came out. I have to say that I have had a few handles break on Fiskars- I think its mainly poor design, the stress of punching is being put on flimsy plastic. I only ever punch thin paper with them too. I would not buy any more, no matter what the design. I think the lever style punches are far stronger, and the designs are awesome.
I am new to cardmaking and am wondering what is your favorite punch pattern?
I think those of us who have a lot of border/edge punches would have a hard time picking a favorite, lol.
I would suggest that you go to Michaels, where they carry quite a few of the Martha punches. Look them over, take your coupon, and get a couple if you can. I like the ones that have a scalloped type edge, and there are some pretty daisy/flower type patterns, too.
