MD * Closed - Wait list - May 15 - Shoebox Swap in Kingsville, MD (Baltimore County)
We (Andrea & Lisa) are hosting another shoebox swap on Saturday, May 15, 2010 from 9:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m., at:
Mt. Vista Regional Park (formerly Mt. Vista Golf Club)
11101 Raphael Road
Kingsville, MD 21087
There is no set theme but do require that all products must be made using Stampin' Up stamps, cardstock, inks, etc. Stamps and colors can either be current or retired.
There is room for 31 people (over 18 years of age please) to attend with each person bringing a shoebox swap for 30 people to make and something to share for lunch. There is a $10 non-refundable charge per person for hall rental and expenses which will be collected before the day of the swap. All monies need to be in by Wednesday, May 12, 2010. If money is not received by this time, the waiting list will be opened up. Everyone who signs up must have a SCS ID to make this fair for everyone attending.
All cards are to be full cards. Please bring enough supplies for everyone to make your card including all cardstock, stamps, inks, embellishments, tools, etc., along with your own adhesive and scissors to use on all the projects we make. Please make sure all of your supplies are labeled with either your name or initials, so we all go home with the stuff we brought. We'd like each person to have a sample and typed instructions in their box telling how to make your card, and also have their swaps in baggies or envelopes containing everything each person needs to do your card. This really helps make the swap go more smoothly.
Please bring something to share for lunch. When you sign up for the swap, please post what youll bring for lunch. We do not have use of an oven, so please do not bring anything to be baked or that needs to be heated up. Crock pots are welcome. There is a refrigerator we can use.
There will be several door prizes throughout the day. And we are asking for card donations which will be used for our local hospital. These can be old swap cards, card fronts, or even one of the cards you are doing for the swap.
To sum up what youll need to bring for the shoebox swap: something to share for lunch, and cards for the local hospital if you'd like to donate any. I am attaching a registration form that should be sent to me along with the $10 non-refundable charge.

Reason: adding state code to beginning of title
As soon as they let me know I will let you know. I know this is going to fill up pretty quickly. My brother is graduating from Nursing School and my great nephew is turning 3 years old... so I asked them what date things were going on because I have to plan my calendar. Busy, Busy, Busy.... hahahahah!! Thanks for including me!
Andrea, I signed up for a dessert. I've decided to make a cinnamon crumb coffee cake which can either be eaten for breakfast or for dessert after lunch. If you find out you need more "real" food closer to the day of the swap, just holler, and I can throw something together for you and Lisa. Not a problem at all.
Wow....I go away for a couple days and our swap is more than half full! I am so excited and looking forward to it. Andrea, thanks for handling the work.
Jessi and Brandy are IN!!!! (and paid...) Brandy is bringing queso dip and chips. Jessi is bringing beer bread and dip and that apple cake you love so much! Thanks.
