When the new Alice in Wonderland movie hit theatres, It immediately took me back MANY years. When I was about 8 years old, my mom bought me a set of books which included Alice In Wonderland, Black Beauty and several others. I spent a great deal of time reading those books. I remember to this day that Alice In Wonderland gave me nightmares, though!
~ Childhood Memories ~
Today, our challenge is more of a directive than a technique, but were going with it. I want you to reach back into your memory and pull out some favorite childhood activities or events. Then I challenge you to make a card or project based on one of those memories/events.
Here are a few of mine that might help jog your memory:
Tire swings
Slumber Parties
Ding Dong Ditch!
Outdoor movies
Summer Camp
Dress up
Tea Parties
Board games
Vacation by car!
Those are just a few that came to mind. I am sure that you all will come up with a ton of your own.
Thanks for the fun challenge and the early post, Holly! Look forward to seeing everyone's special memories! MY CARD

Thanks, Holly, for giving me the chance to use a stamp that is very special to me. The image itself is THE memory. Someone on SCS did a card with this image...it could be several years ago.....and was kind enough to answer my inquiry about the lighthouse stamp. I was able to get one on EBay...most people want the round ones, I guess.
Oh Holly, I never find time to join in on Monday's challenge, but this is so sweet. Childhood memories, for many, are so filled with wonderful things. This is a fabulous challenge.

I just wanted to say... even though I am still going through the entries and reading your stories, this has been my favorite challenge so far. The stories and memories I am reading are just precious. I am smiling and crying and just having so much fun looking at your gorgeous creations.
