Thumbs up New Nesties, Empresties, and other goodies!!

On Saturday I went to the Heirloom Stamp and Scrap show in St. Charles Il.

I found some new nesties. I was able to purchase 3 at $18.00 each and get the 4th one FREE!!

Awesome deal! Scrap-mart had a booth at the show.

Plus I got a Empressiabitle for $5.99 Such a good deal!

I also got a good deal on my Refills for my Glue Pro Tape gun. $6.99 each on the refills. I bought 3 of them.

Our Daily Bread was there too. I purchase a Stamp set.

I wished I had more money to spend. But I'll have to wait till next months
Show in Rockford to spend money.

Has anyone else seen the nesties that are shaped like a square that has been slightly twisted? I got these at a Stamp Expo last weekend. They look exactly like all other nesties but I have never seen them advertised anywhere. They are NOT a new release...I will try to post a picture later...they made the cutest card.
blessings.

I don't think they're Nesties since they're made by Dies Direct. I couldn't find these on the site, but I did find the triangles you mentioned on another thread.

I think these are the older dies from Spellbinders before the nestabilities craze hit I have the older octagons. These are called geometrics or wavy dies.. I think

You are correct, these dies are Spellbinders Abstract Squares and have been retired. The Abstract Squares were under the category of "geometrics" when they were originally released, but were moved to the "Nestabilities" category a couple of years ago.

You can still find them on a few on-line websites, they are a great die!

I think Splitcoast removed it, assuming it was advertising.

I found the Geometrics on another site including the wavy squares. They look interesting. And the Geometric Circles came with 7 dies instead of 6. The rectangles were cool because they had long skinny ones, and then other longer fatter ones. And the ovals were different.

I'd like to own some of those!

That's a bummer, I would've liked to have seen Amber's card made with the wavy squares.

That's weird because it was a card made with the shape. At least the photo I remember seeing.

I used to live in St. Charles too. for about 20 years. I worked in a couple of Flower shops in the area for many years. I also work at a Auto Part store.

I love going back to visit some of my old stomping grounds.....

It's a GREAT place to live and visit. They have changed many things in the area. Sometimes it's hard to remember what it looked like before.

I live about 14 miles south of SC.

I hope you find this funny - when I read your post, I read it as "...I love going back to visit some of my old stamping grounds..."

and for a minute, I thought "What stamping places?" I think I need more sleep! (LOL)
