IL * Croppin' In Collinsville, Illinois
Hi! Everyone. Posting here to let you know of an awesome event that we have been doing now for 1 year and two months exactly now. I can't BELIEVE how much we have grown and how much fun we all have together. I am having 12 hour crop once a month (depending on that months events). The crop will be held at the Collinsville Senior Center, 420 E. Main Street, Collinsville, Illinois. The crop is $10.00 a person which helps pay for the cost of the room. There will be door prizes throughout the day. The crop starts at 10am til 10pm. There is plenty of space to spread out and crop or make cards, however, every month differs, depending on the amount of people coming. Some months we get an entire table to our selves and some months it's two people to a table. I have had to rent a bigger room because we have grown so much in such a little time. So as always space is plentiful but it is on a first come first serve basis. So RSVP now. If we continue to grow from here well thats just awesome and I will just have to rent a bigger room:mrgreen:
SEPTEMBER'S DATE IS: SEPTEMBER 11th from 10am to 10pm This is a 12 Hour crop so come and relax. I even have ladies coming now to make ornaments, jewelry and knitting in their spots. It is not just for Card makers and Scrapbookers anymore. It's more about getting together with friends and I would LOVE to see you there.
I am one of the coordinators of the Annual STL Stampede and have been wanting to do a monthly crop in this area for sometime. I have held a monthly crop now since November 2008 and we just keep getting more people and every month is more fun. I hope you can join us this month.
Okay so for our New Year's Resolution lets resolve to get some albums done in 2010. Come crop with us on a monthly basis. It is a blast and we are steadily growing each month. Hope to see you all there.

Here in Germany, we have a group of ladies who meet at the Chapel and scrap and it is really fun to get out and away from it all. Also Autumn, can you PM me your address so I can send your little a little something and do you like chocolate?

Autumn, how many girls do you have so far for the 22nd? And I think I read that you can stamp/scrap.. whatever you want, right? It's not a swap where you bring a card to make... right? How much room will each person approximately have to work? I am a space hog, and sometimes need to really spread out to work on things.
Sorry for all the questions, but wanted to get a clear idea about what you gals are doing...

Kelly, we have approximately 10 or 12 girls so far with room for atleast 30. The room has very large round tables and I was looking at 2 people to a table so you should have more than adequate space available to you. No card swap, just fun stamping and scrapping with friends.

I am soo behind on my scrapbooking too! About 10 years worth. SAD!!! But I never just sit and do it by timeline. I take pictures and just single out the cute ones of the kids. I have had a birthday party for my kids every year so much so that I could do a whole photo album or two of just birthdays.

This sounds very interesting....however, will not be able to make it this time around. I live in the south Hwy 55 area so, not too far away. LMK the next one please.

Just saw this! I have been soooo behind on my emails!!
Hope things have been going well for you all.
I can't make it this month, I am teaching a stamped, light up glass block class, but I will definitely be planning on future months! Any plans for one in December? Any date picked yet? By next month I will really be needing a day of rest!!!!
