My best friend recently announced an impending divorce. The the soon-to-be ex has always been a jerk, and said friend is very happy and relieved.
I want to make a "Congrats on following your heart" card, but everything I see seems to juvinille or too serious. I cant even come up with what to write inside.. I don't want to sound tacky, but this is s huge milestone that should be commemerated.
If anyone has any good ideas I'd sure appreciate hearing them!
I made a card for my daughter that just became divorced. Inside I put "Lookout girls she single again!" I just wanted to give her a laugh. It was her choice to divorce but it dosen't make it any easier. Anyway she got a kick out of it.

I was invited to a divorce party a few years ago when a good friend of mine finally got rid of her then no good husband. She made invitations that started with the line "Picked the wrong guy, gave him the wrong finger" come help me celebrate my new freedom.
I totally cracked up when I received that invite and the party was a great fun. Six of us girls chipped in together and bought her a ring to replace her wedding ring. The friendship ring was to remind her that her friends would always be there to help her through the rough times.
