well at least where I live which is in the mdlands. It's been snowing since lunchtime about 7hours. Have just joined this forum following a recommendation from a member of another card forum. Have been making cards since last August, and am completely hooked. Have been to some cardmaking workshops and have spent a fortune on stash. Had a cuttlebug for Christmas and love it. Look forward to finding my way around and getting to know some of you. Anne
Hi Anne, and welcome from New Zealand. Your weather is the total opposite of ours as we had 95% humidity and 26deg yesterday. Maybe we could have some your your snow! I would like to get to know you too, so feel free to say hi in reply to this post, or send me a personal message.

Hello have been hearing about your weather from a friend on another forum. Have sent some snowy pictures to her and a friend in Aus as they are also experiencing very high temps. Whereabouts in NZ are you. We visited NZ 9 years ago, we were in North Island and stayed with some friends who lived in Waiuku (sp?) would love to come back again one day.
Have to work out how to send pm's. :-D Anne

Hi there, thankyou for the welcome. Had a quick look on your blog last night- did I understand correctly that I would be able to order 'Stampin Up' from you? Only looked very quickly as it was late. :-D Anne

Hi, a warm welcome to you from a freezing cold Scotland!
Hi thanks for the welcome. I know the weather has been a lot worse for you up in Scotland. We'er not used to it here. Looked at your blog, love your cards. I was a primary school teacher but retired early. Now have lots of time for crafting, well apart from all the other things I seem to get involved in, especially my four grandchildren. I am married, and have two sons and two lovely DIL's. My youngest son lives very close to me and has two daughters aged 2 and 4months, and my eldest son lives in Leeds and has two sons, one aged 2 and one aged 4. Anne
Welcome Anne and a big welcome here. I also got myself a CB late last year and it really is a great asset; I love it and wish I hadn't held off so long.

Hello Carole
Thankyou for your welcome. I had just been reading an email from a friend in Melbourne ( I got to know her via another forum I belong to) and then saw that there had been a reply to my message in this forum. I love my CB and have bought several embossing folders and some nesties- I dare not add up what I've spent so far on this addicion. I am off to look on a map as not sure where you are in Aus. My DH and I visited Aus 10 years ago, my son worked there for a while and I have a friend in Adelaide. Would love to come back but cost, the journey and other issues prevent it at the moment. Anne (from a grey, rainy England today)
Hi Carole I found you. When we visited we flew to Adelaide, stayed with my friend then drove to Horsham to collect my son. We went to Port Fairy, Melbourne, Sydney,Coolangatta -(sp) then Brisbane , New Zealand back to Brisbane then home. There were many other places in between where we stayed- went through Grampians, Blue Mountains, Hunter Valley, Coffs Harbour (?) and so many more a wonderful trip. Anne
