Leisa Jane pm'd me earlier last week saying we should celebrate the Olympics using the Olympic colors. I thought this was a fantastic idea! Leisa sent me a link with a bunch of Olympic pictures with different logos and such. I narrowed the choices to ONE! However, I thought it would be fun to make this more of a color challenge event. The picture shows five(5) different colors. Now, I know more than three colors in a color challenge is technically a "no no" so I thought to be fair to the Olympics and logo colors that we would still use all of the colors, but give everyone options so everybody is happy happy!
CC259: OLYMPIC Color Challenge EVENT!
Based on this photo of the Olympics 2010 we are going to get our colors based on the five colors in the picture. I do not want to specify the names of colors. I am going to let you decide based on what YOU see in the picture.
This week you have some choices!
Event 1: Choose ONE color from photo and ONE neutral.
Event 2: Choose TWO colors from photo and ONE neutral.
Event 3: Choose THREE colors from photo and neutrals of choice.
Event 4: Choose FOUR colors from photo and neutrals of choice
Event 5: Choose all FIVE colors from photo and neutrals of choice.
This week's dessert option is metallics...bronze, silver, or gold!! There are all types and categories of metallics available to use on cards. Choose a metallic of some sort to add to your card.
Be sure when you LOAD to put CC259 in keyword. Also, put in your write up which Event(s) you chose!

Please keep in mind, too, that while we list SU colors for the challenges these are just color reference points. Use the closest colors you have. We want everyone to be able to play!!!

This was so fun...I know I will do more.
I couldnt decide the color to use so I used them all. There is silver in the ribbon, although it doesnt show well in the photo

The flowers that the give each medalist inspired this card, I used the yellow, green and my one neutral. There is some gold sparkles on the roses and leaves
