Hi! I'm Fiona, new to SCS although I've known what a wonderful resource the site is for years! I belong to several craft forums and have often seen links to instructions here but I had no idea until a couple of days ago that there was such a huge community. I look forward to being a part of this great group
Hi! I'm not a Brit, but did visit London last year, and I loved it! I was amazed at some of the paper arts I saw the little bit I was there. Welcome, and looking forward to your stuff!

Welcome to SCS and hello from Maryland - lived right across from England many years ago in The Netherlands and was able to visit often. Love the country.
Hi Fiona. Welcome to SCS, a really great place for stampers, very diverse and tons of inspiration. I hope to see some of your stuff in the galleries. I'm also a Brit but escaped!!!
Hello and welcome. I live in Suffolk County NY which is part of Long Island. Happened to work for a branch of a company who's head office was located in Manchester. Also had another company in Yorkshire and the executives I worked for were all from the UK. ALMOST got to go to Manchester on a business trip with my boss but it was cancelled at the last minute. Too bad!! That was a very long time ago but the men I worked for left a lasting impression on me. Very nice and they treated me very well.
Lots of good info here but you already know that.
Hi Fiona! I am Irish, but just moved to Canada last year from Northamptonshire! there are loads of Brits about, this is a great forum, but watch your purse they find all sorts of wonderful things for you to buy...
Hello Fiona, I am a true Brit, coming from the Midlands, Derby in fact. Nice to see
some Brits in here. This is a great group and everyone is so friendly.
You are very welcome and enjoy your stay.
Hugs DodieW xx
Lil-paper-pixie is in Solihull, UK. She's a great crafting pal of mine.
I'm living in Solihull currently but am leaving for the Netherlands for the next three months.
All the best Fiona.
Hi Fiona, I am a Brit too and am also new to SCS. I am orginally from Kent but have lived in Hampshire most of my life. I have been browsing this site for a few weeks and love it. Everyone is so talented.
Hello all, nice to see some new British faces around!
Ruth, my DH is originally from Hornchurch (many moons ago though). I'm a midlands lass by birth but have moved steadily north and we're now up in Northumberland, a stone's throw from Hadrian's wall.
Stoke Newington/Islington Borders... and a short ride from an art supplies shop in Shoreditch where they have six options of promarkers (sets of 5) on sale for 3.95 per set and half price bleed-proof paper... and even though its tipping it down, guess where I've just been? :-D
Joanne - DH from Hornchurch - and is he ok? Or is he exhibiting strange southern tendancies????
I've worked on him over the years. From Hornchurch he went south to the point that when he later moved to Oxford he thought he was moving to the North  He still can't say words like "glass" and "grass" properly but I think I got to him too late to change that ;)
I'm also a newbie and from Northampton, UK. I've known about this great site for a while but only joined the forum today so looking forward to making some forum friends.
Hi Fiona, I am Scottish but moved to South Australia with my family nearly 4 years ago. This is an amazing site with the most amazing, friendly people. Welcome.
