Hi, Mary here

My upline Patrice suggested I try out this website, which I have done but I am not sure where to go first, how to search. I would love any advice on how to get started to get ideas especially for a gift box.

Hi Mary! Welcome to the board!

If you're a new demo for Stampin' Up! be sure to sign up for the demo side of the board. There's lots of ideas over there! (Just click "Join a Group" on the left, and there should be a choice for SU Demos with a radio button to click to join)
