Default Design Studio Question

I saw someone's blog where they deleted part of an image loaded into DS from a cartridge. I didn't think you can alter cartridge images with DS, can you? I can't find the blog where I saw the video.

For example - if there's a cartridge with an image of a house that has 2 windows, but you only want it to cut one window, will DS let you delete one of the windows? I tried to do this when I first got the software but couldn't figure out how to select just part of an image to delete it.

Can this be done? And if so, how?

Thanks!

click on the part of the image that you do not want to have cut out. The lines should turn red then right click and check hide selected contour this will hide that and not cut it out then if you want it back just click it again, right click and uncheck unhide and it will come back. Hope this helps

Thanks Malissa! I will try it and let you know. I might not get to it till the end of the week. I'm so happy to know that there's a way to do that!
