LSC258 I've been FRAMED!! (2/5/10)
Today’s Challenge: Make a piece of FRAMED ART. You can find some inexpensive and useful frames at the local dollar store. Make something to give to a friend or decorate your home. Make a darling Valentine scene to display in your kitchen. The sky's the limit on subject and size...just put it in a frame! Feel free to take the glass out so you can put more dimension and texture into your artwork.
Here are some samples:
Love is Spoken Here by Dawn Mercedes
Love is Spoken Here by Wendybell
LSC258 Gallery
Be sure that you upload it into the "Framed Art" gallery (which is under Home Decor).
Uploading: Remember the keyword is without spaces. Use a comma between keywords with a space after each comma.
If you are new to the challenges, please feel free to do this one or ANY of the challenges at any time. There is no time limit. They are not races to see who can do one first, nor are they contests of any sort. All the challenges are simply to provide inspiration and to get us stamping!

I see the gallery, but your personal gallery doesn't have a photo displayed.

It's up now, I think I had to change the gallery so the servers must have had to cycle through.

Yikes - I'll have to go and see what sort of frame I can rummage up. Mostly they are way bigger than I'd like to create a piece of art for, but with luck I'll find something in my box of pictures.

This was fun!! I tried something that would match the colors of our bedroom. Here's my quick attempt at framed art:

Hi, Dawn! Thanks!
At first I wasn't going to play since I didn't have a frame on hand and today is a "stay in" day for me with the weather outside. I used something I had tossed aside, not really ever planning to use it. I hope it "qualifies", but there it stands! : )

Help - I found a frame, but it was a bit shabby. So, I sanded it, primed it and painted it with some Crackle Accents after waiting ages for the primer to dry. And now the whole thing is flaking off - too much to even look distressed. Oh well...

I'm Cracking Up
I decided to post the picture I'd made to put in the frame, even though the frame is now in need of serious attention. Even moving it to take a photo, more paint flaked off.

LSD Serenity in a Frame
Just a quick entry for the challenge tonight. I was inspired by Seattle Stamper's submission for today. Thanks.

Here is my contribution to today's challenge. I combined 3 challenges...the faux brick wall, collage and the frame. I realized after I got started that I probably didn't have to alter the frame. Oh well...my fingers were needing to get uber-inky. tfl

I really made this for the Flourishes challenge to use your favourite set - but hey - I specially made a frame to display my garden scene. So even though I then stuck my frame on a card, I hope it fits here too

Just showing one more before the new challenge is posted. Ahhh, there are advantages to snow days!
This is a framed art piece inspired by the decor elements up in my bathroom.
