TLC257 ~ Side Steppin' ~ (01/25/10)
Welcome, Friends!
Ready for a new challenge?
I think you all are going to like this one, a lot!
~ Side Step Cards ~
About a month or so ago, I started seeing these cool "Side Step" cards in the gallery. They are a twist to the Stair Step cards we did awhile back. I traced the origin back as far as I could and found that
Julie Davison ( Juls716 ) posted a cool diagram/instruction sheet on her blog
HERE. I wrote to Julie and she graciously agreed to let us borrow her instructions.
This is a great "special fold" card for making a scene! If you're adventurous, you can change up the cuts to make it your own. I cut mine a little different so that the larger panel is on the right and wider.
You can see my sample here:
~
Frog Kissing 101 ~
Please remember to use KEYWORD
TLC257 (no spaces) in your upload.
You can find the entire
TLC257 gallery
HERE .
If you have any questions or issues uploading, please do not hesitate to post your question here or send me a PM!
Now, go forth and create!
Have fun!

Last week I treated myself to the TLC before the housework. Bad idea - I was catching up on various chores all week, LOL. So today I have already done them all, and now I can have fun. I've always wanted to try one of these, so it's great to see it as today's challenge. Thanks, Holly.

Well, having made a very simple one to start, I have a better idea of how to put the elements together next time. I had fun with this - thanks

Holly, could you post the measurements of the cuts on this thread please? I am unable to open up the instruction sheet that Julie posted. Thanks.

These mutiple panels to decorate are always a challenge for me, but it's good to get out of one's comfort box! Thanks, Holly, for this pretty card design. Took me awhile to get it done...not so quick for me today. : )
