Good morning! Thanks for joining me for today's ways to use it challenge. Many thanks to Michele Boyer for jumping in and helping me out last week when I was ill. I truly appreciate it! Things are much better now so all is well.
I love textiles. Long before I ever discovered the joy of paper crafting, I loved to sew. There is something magical about creating things whether it be clothing, home decor or layouts and cards. More and more Im seeing the two worlds mix as textiles are a big trend in paper crafting right now.
Pull out your fabrics, burlap or whatever you wish and have some creative fun mixing textiles with paper for our Ways to Use Textiles challenge. Make a card, create a layout or design an altered project. I can't wait to see what you create!
Please remember to put WT255 in your keywords section and post a link back here so that we can all see your work. Please link only newly uploaded projects for this challenge...we want to get you creating today!
First time I ever played along on this challenge! Heres my card! Thanks so much for looking! And thanks for the challenge! I will be back to play again!

Ohhh, right up my alley...I wonder if my kids will let me stamp today, they are out of school and tomorrow due to another winter ice storm. YUCK! Thanks for hosting and off to play. It's been awhile since I got to play in a challenge too. I miss them.

Julia, this was a super fun challenge. I have had this material with little hogs on it for about 8 years. I bought it thinking it would be cute to use on a card. I glued my material to a piece of cardstock using Aleene's tacky glue and then cut it out and adhered it to my box.
thanks julia, this was such a great challenge-I didnt think I was going to be able to play along since I dont have any fabric-I am not a sewer. When I looked through my stash I found some fabric applique iron-ons. here is my card
I've been saving these jeans - and many more - for a quilt that I haven't gotten around to so I borrowed a pair from the pile to make this flower for today's challenge.
