SBSC28 Sketch Challenge
This week, and every week in the future we will be posting both a 12 X 12 AND 8-1/2 X 11 double page layout.
These are designed by Cindy and I. You will NOT find these sketches anywhere else!! How exciting is that?
You do not have to fill ALL empty spaces with photos, you can stamp, embellish or use your imagination and fill in the blanks! Just make sure you USE THE SKETCH we provide!! You must follow our sketches to be eligible to win the prize this week. If a double page layout is too much for you to do, we will still judge one page layouts that follow the sketch (just delete one page) If you have any questions post them in here and someone will help you. Be it Cindy or I, or someone that knows the answer.

OK.. I'm done... but it doesn't count for the contest I'm afraid. My pics were too big and it was before my digital camera so I'm stuck with them. I did a 12x12 and only got 4 pics instead of 6 pics across the center. I'm just glad I got a page done! LOL! I need to scrap more often. I'll post a link when I get it uploaded so you can see my attempt.

ohh I like these sketches! now lets hope that my pictures like them! (in other words lets see if they will work with the sketches!). getting ready to take dd to her Cheerleading game then older daughter to her game. Maybe later I can start or tommorrow.

AWESOME!!
Congrats to the winners! I love the inspiration! I did participate in both challenges, but my stupid camera won't load them to the computer. DH will look at it tomorrow and hopefully get it fixed!
I told our wonderful hostesses we'd send out some prize donations, I just haven't gotten to it yet! Just so you know I didn't forget!
Well, I MUST fold some laundry, then I'm going to crop, crop!
Like someone said, the greatest prize is getting more done...I got 17 pages done last week! You all are AWESOME!!!

Same here. This week has been a bad week for me for stamping or scrapbooking. I'm hoping this week will be better. Thanks for posting the challenges and sketches. WOW! This is so much fun!
This is two weeks in a row that I've participated! This could be habit forming! Thanks ladies for the great challenges!
I had this idea over the Christmas holidays to make scrapbooks for my niece and nephew to give them when they turn 18, or move out, or get married, or some significant day in the future. If I keep on with these great challenges, I may actually catch up and be ready with the albums when one of these significant events happens.
I only made one 12" x 12" page as I didn't have enough photos for two.

Glad you're playing along Laurel!! I'm doing something similar with my kids' albums, and I plan to give theirs to them when they become parents for the first time (you always want to see your baby/childhood pics and see the similarities between them and you). I get doubles though so that I can have a copy as well.................

This will be the 1st time that I have participated in the Scrapbook challenge. I finally figured out how to post a link to my gallery...I am really excited about that! This was a great sketch! I really love the way my pages turned out (even though it took me all day to get it done!) I look forward to participating in future challenges!

Yeah for me!! I just finished the 12 X 12 spread challenge. I need two double spreads to do the pictures that I'm doind so I'm going to tweak the 8 1/2 X 11 one and use that too! I'll post them both tomorrow!! Two scrapbook pages done in one week...and I've still stamped...life can't get much better than this!

LOL, no, Cindy is fine, probably a little sore today though! LOL I think (we didn't chat a whole lot, but this is what I suspect) that they're working on remodling thier garage so that she can have a HUGE scramp room and such. She said you should see the mess in my garage! LOL She'll be back on Monday if not sooner I'm sure!

This is a super idea to do the challenge! I decided I'd give it a try and it's gonna cost me money! My SU alphabet set just isn't tall enough to do my title page so I had to use the old poopy foam ones I had - Yuck! So I have made an executive decision that I NEED - not want - Need - the Headline or Letterpress Alphabet set. (Fortunately, my cousin is having a workshop in Feb. and I can get a SB too - Oh how easily I just justified that) Then of all things after I made that decision I realized I lent my brilliant blue inkpad to my cousin. So, I had to color the poopy foam stamps with my stampin write markers! Oh what a day!
I don't know if I'll be able to post my pic in my gallery before Thursday or not. I don't have a digital camera and I won't see my cousin (she takes them and emails them to me) until Friday night. I wish my scanner would scan a 12 x 12!
Just had to share! On the up side I have another 2 page layout completed!

Take a look at the princess page in my gallery -- both pages are pieced together! Let me know if you'd like help figuring it out! WELCOME!!!

That would be great! However, I must caution you I am pretty much a computer idiot! I have Microsoft picture it so if you can tell me how to do that it would be great. My cousin will also thank you. She just emailed me more pics today but I haven't put them in my gallery yet.
I put a pic in my gallery of my daughter's one page so that a fellow SCS could see what I was talking about that I scanned in 2 pcs and just loaded both. It does look quite goofy! Making them met in the middle on one post would be so much nicer.

I just had to get back on here to see if anyone has posted yet...and yes!! Everyone's pages are awesome so far!!! I'm so glad that more people are joining the ranks!!
I WILL be posting mine...but as usual, it will probably be on the last day!!! I'm about ready to throw my computer out the window!!:mad: I have to take it apart and take it in to be fixed, but I've already said that I had better have it back by Thursday!!!
