I am trying to really get the most out of my in colors. I am trying to use at least one each week. These colors evolved because I wanted to use some of my crushed curry. I must admit, though, I love the crushed curry dp better than the cardstock. Anyway, these colors sort of evolved from there. While gray is technically a neutral, this week it is a color and your neutral choices are limited. Once I had these colors together and started working with them, I really think they have a wonderful regal quality combined.
CC256: Crushed Gray Burgandys
Check out the SU combo chart to see actual colors!
Basic Gray (the darker gray)
Bravo Burgandy
Crushed Curry (summer sun)
White, Ivory, or Kraft neutrals
This week's dessert option is TEXT! Use script or print type fonts in ways other than just sentiment! There are dp choices available, backgrounds stamps, flowers, accenting, etc!
Also, a big thank you to Kim and Vicki for doing a sample with me this week. Just so you know when I ask people to sample with me,they have no clue what the colors are until they say yes! So, more kuddos for the sample makers!
Please keep in mind, too, that while we list SU colors for the challenges these are just color reference points. Use the closest colors you have. We want everyone to be able to play!!!
Please put CC256 in your keywords section (and if you have more than one challenge use a comma to separate them) so we can find your card! If you need help uploading click here!
I will be hosting the color challenges for the next few weeks. If there is a color combo you want to see using any of the new in colors, please pm me with the link to the card. Try to stay within three color choices. Thanks so much!
Interesting, Betty! Crushed Curry has been one of my least fave in colours...so I'll need to give this a go tomorrow for sure! Thanks for the inspiration!
Thanks, Betty, for a very unique combo! I tend to resist the curry color but it might just start growing on me - lol! Here's MY CARD.

Another thought-provoking challenge, Betty! At first, I didn't have too much hope, but then things came together and now, I think it is a smashing color combination! Thanks!
This was a challenging one for me. I had to make a lot of substitutions but still had fun. Was thrilled to use the dessert option!! You can take a look at my card here:

I had to do a scrapbook page instead of a card today! Those colors just didn't get me excited until I thought about my son's schools colors and one thing led to another. Thanks for the challenge! Here's what I did:
