You are a craft artiste !! I bow down before you....no matter how hard I try to shade, it comes out all flat. Maybe I will put it under my pillow and osmosis will get it to my teeny tiny brain. Hey, a gal can hope !

You guys need to really thank Lori, Jenn, and Daven for setting this up. Having it in one place helps me as well as you guys. Then, if you want more advanced coloring ideas go dig around my blog.

Nope. Sorry :( I don't fly in until Friday evening. I'll be setting up the Copic Booth and visiting the certification class and the SCS booth on Saturday though. I'll be around, but I'll also be all over the place

Does anyone know what a good darker green would blend with YG03 and YG07?

YG03, YG07, G28. I know it breaks the form, but it will blend well, trust me.

You might try going to BG09 or BG18. If that's not dark enough then add the G28 as well.

Thanks Marianne, that really helps. Ok a few more for you because you are on a roll and I bought my first batch of copics without a real plan of blending...
Lighter and Darker colors to work with Y38
Lighter and Darker to go with B26
Lighter Orange to go with YR09
Thank you so much for your help, it is so appreciated.

question--can I use the standard fine replacement nibs that are for the original markers in the sketch markers? I don't think I'll ever use the broad nib on the other end of the sketch, but if I can put fine nibs in, I think I would use them... does anyone know?

The only replacement nib that works in the sketch and the ciao marker is the "medium round", the fine nib is only offered in the original copic.
I use my chisel end all the time for coloring my ribbon to match

Can you color directly on rubber stamps with Copic markers, like you can with the SU Markers?

Hi bjtstamper, did anyone ever answer your question? If not, the answer is not exactly. There is a technique where you can color directly on your stamps with copics and reactivate with a spritz of alcohol, but it produces a watercolor effect. I think Gina K has a tutorial on that at stamptv.com
I believe the reason you can't color directly on your stamps with copics is because the ink dries too fast or maybe it is the alcohol evaporating too fast.
Gurus...please correct me if I am wrong.
