I have a question...Does the hand sanitizer come in a spray bottle? I am guessing that it does since you are able to spray it onto your design. The results you got are fabulous!
I read on another thread to mix it with water or alcohol or something in a mini-mister and shake really well and spray. It worked fine the first time I used it, but then the shimmer paint just clumped up into a ball at the bottom of the mini mister and I couldn't shake it hard enough to get it to mix again. I am very grateful for this new thing to try!!

Thank you!!
If you go to my blog, you will see the Walgreen's brand I used. YES, they are mini spray bottles and are liquid NOT gel. The shimmer paint will settle in the bottom however it quickly mixes back up once you shake the bottle.

I just checked out your fabulous blog & amazing shimmer mist tutorial! Thank you soo much for sharing your discovery!! I'm making a run to Walgreens tomorrow
Take care
Thank you ... I can't take credit for the idea of the shimmer paint, but I will take credit for thinking of using the Walgreens hand sanitizers. Thank you too for visiting my blog. I update it regularly.

You are very welcome. After you try it, come back and let us know what you think of it. My customers LOVED it and found it very easy to make and use. The spray has an aloe vera smell to it, so not too strong.
do they sell the shimmer paint at Hobby lobby....i dont recall seeing it there...thanks
I honestly don't know. Stampin' Up! still carries it in three colors. Here's a link to my website (click on shop) then do a search on shimmer paint: Stampin' Up! Demonstrator
