We all know there is lots of snow and ice involved in all of the Olympic games. After all, that's why they are held in beautiful but chilly cities like Vancouver.
All the events such as snow skiing, figure skating, bobsledding require frozen water in one form or another.
My challenge to you is make a card that includes snow or ice. The requirements are to use:
1. White flower soft (or polar) and tacky glue for snow
OR
2. Embossing powder(white, clear, glassy glaze) for snow or ice
Have fun!

Yeah! I'm home and ready to stamp. Great challenge, it shouldn't be too hard fo me to come up with something reminiscent of the frozen wasteland I call home.
I don't have any white flowersoft, thanks for letting us play along with white EP!
I'm trying to get my sample uploaded but having tons of issues with it........I'll keep trying!! It's not my fault if there are 37 of the same card in the gallery here soon!!! :lol:
good deal on this one, hoping to get my Christmas Card challenge cards made either tonight or tomorrow, so this will work well with that plan!!

Okay.........I just can't get SCS to cooperate...........it will for about 30 seconds and then it's down and I can't get in for several minutes..........I'll come back a bit later and see if it's working consisitently and I'll be commenting all weekend!!!
Time to clean up my lasagne mess and get it into the oven. I didn't follow a recipe tonight, and forgot to buy parmesian cheese. I hope it comes out yummy anyways! ;)

And I liked you comment about my first card.... but no this was not one of the Birthday cards I was working on earlier. They turned out really cute. They are for my swap that you see listed in my siggy. I might post them later... the Red, White & Blue card is just a quicky I put together for in about 20 mins for the challenge... not my best work, but I finished in time. Uploading was a joke though! SCS is being really wonky...:rolleyes:
I guess I should have covered the bottom part of this card with flower soft. I'll prcatice before next winter. Promise. What was wrong with the site?? I couldn't get the posting until almost 7:30? Anyone else have trouble???

The site does this sometimes. It just happens. I know Daven and Jenn were both at CHA all last week. I just got home last night. I'm sure they're trying to catch up with needed updates.

Alright I have a little while till I'm off to my friends, but I'm SO gonna play this challenge right now!!
and just FYI... it's actually not chilly here in vancouver.. it's been quite warm and we are all a little concerned about the "Winter" olympics in a couple weeks, but i guess there's always snow machines, right?? i'm off to play!!

SCS is better but I think we're all still having troubles with the site. If you can at least read the challenge and make your card, don't worry about uploading right away. We'll be back to look at your beautiful work and make comments later.......
