Who would like to see this split by states?
This thread is so popular and covers so many different areas that I find it difficult to keep track of the threads for my state or neighboring states.
I was wondering if anyone else felt the same way. I emailed the moderators suggesting this be broken up into State Threads if possible.
If you are interested post here and/or send an email to the moderators by using the Contact Us link on the left of the page. If more want it, it may become a reality.
Thanks.

Maybe rather than splitting by state, we could split by region. I live in Eastern Iowa, but would be interested in events in Illinois, and possibly even WI and MN, depending on how far of a drive for me.
That's just my 2 cents.

I'm ok with it as is, but if it was broken up, I agree with broken up by region. I am interested in gatherings in NY, CT, MA, PA, NJ, etc.

I think regional sections would be easier to implement and to look at since it would probably cover your neighboring states.

I vote for this thread being split by state. I understand regional suggestions ... but being smack dab in the middle of CA, a regional split still would be lots to sift through. I suppose either way it would be easier than it is now ;-). Thanks to the OP.

I think posters just need to be clear when they post and be sure the location is in the title.

Larger states like TX and CA could probably stand on their own! ;)

I would like to see it broken into states as well, living in Texas, that makes sense. But, I could still look at surrounding states that are close to see if I'd like to venture over to their activities, but that would be a choice I'd make. It would be easier by state than to figure out what region to look at... JMO

I think splitting it by state is a marvelous idea. That way I can choose to view the states that are close to me.

I'd say by regions also (with those states included noted somewhere visible when you are looking at the category headings).

States are tricky- I live in NYC, but have no car- so Hoboken, NJ is easier to get to than parts of Long Island or Upstate. Like, to get to Albany for me is a joke

Thanks everyone for your input. I haven't heard anything from the 'powers' but they may be looking into what it would take to accomplish this. We'll wait and see.

We questioned, we gave our opinions respectfully and they listened. Thanks Bev. That should really help. Also like the fact that you posted it at the top of the main thread for every to hopefully see, read and follow.

Hey don't forget about us Canadians up here to!
The splitting of regions for this section sounds great, so does putting the city name in the title of the post. But, please, don't forget about us Canadians up here who are avid supporters of Splitcoast. Suggestion would be by province for Canada.
