MMTPT77 - BREAKFAST AT TIFFANY'S - TEAPOT TUESDAY STYLE!
WELCOME TO TEAPOT TUESDAY AND CHALLENGE #77
BREAKFAST AT TIFFANY'S - TEAPOT TUESDAY STYLE!
Note: Anyone is welcome to play! Also, you do not have to write a story. You just have to be inspired by the teapot or by the story about this week's location! Have fun!
This is my story!
1. Darn it! I hate it when I can't remember who sent me the link to a cool teapot! I usually try to make a note of who I get stuff from but occassionally things fall through the cracks! Hey, I am old! Snort! Anyway, one of you pointed me in the direction of this fun teapot and honestly, how could I resist! I simply love this one! Whomever you are, thank you so much!
2. Whew! We have had some crazy teaparties! We seem to always be saving someone, on a mission, assisting others with what seems to be impossible dilemas, scooting here, scooting there, dodging flying debris, searching for stolen loot, all while solving up-and-coming, put the fire out now, sorta problems caused by the teapotters themselves! These teaparties are stressful, but fun!!!! Anyway, its time to kick back (no, we are not taking backwards Karate lessons), get pampered, spoiled and relax while having our tea.
3. We are headed to New York City (5th Avenue). I have arranged for Breakfast at Tiffany's, Teapot Tuesday Style. (You must admit that teapot looks just like whats-her-doodle, Audrey Hepburn, at one of our teaparties, classy but fun! Like us!) So, here's the Plan Suzanne (She's the woman in charge of making our breakfast enjoyable, a lifetime memory, one of sheer class, the epitome of what a teaparty should be! She's sort of a snoot but don't tell her I said that! At least, not until the day we leave! Snort!) Okay, back to the plan, Suzanne.......
4. Breakfast at Tiffany's is just the beginning! (I should tell you that the owner's took an inventory of the 42,000 diamond babbles in the store so don't get any idears! (Yah, I warned Gertie!) Bring what you enjoy, what makes you relax, what makes you feel pampered, happy and or just oozing pure class! It could be beautiful flowers, beautiful dresses, beautiful jewelry, perfume, or accessories! It could be a hot bubbly bath, a massage, a good book, your favorite fuzzy robe and slippers, breakfast in bed (why can't we bring a roll-away into Tiffany's? ), or maybe even the Chef who cooks for Hef. Or, it could be champagne, wine, gourmet food and fancy schmancy desserts. Maybe it's simply your favorite calm and peaceful place. Get the idear? Oh, and one more thing, bring your long skinny cigarette thingy but if its on fire, you have to come in the back door!
Be sure to you use KEYWORD MMTPT77 in your upload and post a comment here so we can all see your card!
Ever want to get a jump on next week's challenge card? I am posting a sneak peak (tea peak) on my blog each week showing you a glimpse of the following week's teapot as well as a hint of the story! It's at the end of the Teapot Tuesday Post each week. I usually post it a couple days after the Tuesday Challenge is posted. So, be sneaky and get a jump on the other tea-potters! Snort!
If you are confused about these challenge, see the first sticky post of this thread for more information as well as a directory of individual challenges.
Hi Bonnie! I probably had not quite finished posting it yet....I cut and paste the previous thread in and then go back in and change the links and I don't think I had made the changes yet. Right now I am waiting for my card and the teapot to show up in the Challenge Gallery. Hopefully they will work real soon. Thanks for the heads up!
Oh that teapot is a HOOOOT! Can you imagine that cute thing in your hutch? Though I might get kinda skeery because you would always pass by and look over and ((startle))....eeek!....there's a lady with a teapot on her head in my hutch! Sounds like a super fun party, Cindy!
oh this sounds super fun. Had lunch at Tiffany's once but never breakfast...I was all of 16 and senior GS troup trip to NY...well, of course we all had to buy something so we could have the bag with their name on it. Could only afford 1 lil pearl on that necklace..... think if I bring it with, they can match it up with some new ones to make a looooong string of pearls...hmmm...off to work now but will have some idears running around to play with later...
Well, jes so ya won worry, CurlyMae will be left at home...the ways she likes to pick up things and put them somewheres else could be a real prob. with all them 42,000 baubles...I know it's her thas doin it...why would I leave my reading glasses on the shelf in the bathroom?....No, I think not...I'm old but not seniles...
Did someone say, "Tiffany's?" Woohooooo! I am sooooo there for this party!
I have to wait until I go home from work (I don't know what on earth is wrong with my boss, expecting me to actually be here and do work! giggle) before heading off to this teaparty.
My "relaxing place" has always been the beach. So, I need to create something "beachy" that is worthy of Tiffany's. There isn't a whole lot of natural bling at the beach. But never fear! I'll come up with something dazzling!
Love the fun tea pot! What an elegant time we are having this week! Thanks, Cindy! I can't wait to sample the fine tea and little treats! I'm thinking I may stop by the spa on my way home for some extra relaxation! Here is my card for the party: CC254 MMTPT77 Breakfast at Tiffanys by cmsuto at Splitcoaststampers
FYI - We are off for a day of errands and visiting with old friends. No time to check out the rest of this gallery this morning but I will be back later in the day to see what everyone has done.
What a great teapot. Happy Birthday to Charlene and to Adctd2stamping. I've never been to Tiffany's, but I know it is a classy place. Do you think they would come and sing Happy Birthday to the gals? Maybe I should hire someone to come and sing. I have all sorts of ideas about this teaparty. I hope I can get back soon with a card. It's a bummer to have to work first.
Here's my guest for the party. She's looking for tea or perhaps another uplifting beverage after a busy day of shopping.

Oh, this pampering is such a fun idear...Finally got mine done, the pic in my mind wouldn't translate to paper right...I'm ready for some tea and spa treatments...
Oh My! Do you think Audrey's tea was spiked with something? Such a lady would surely not confuse a teapot with her hat, would she? Didn't we need to replace a chandelier? Kinda makes me wonder if Suzanne has a plan???

Well, if Suzanne does have a plan, I can guaranty you that the tea-potters won't stick to it! Giggle! Good thing I have an awesome liability insurance policy, one just never knows! Hee!
