Focus groups?

Hi all. I got an email about participating in focus groups at Super Show. Can anyone who attended Orlando weigh in on whether these are worth your time or not?

I did one in orlando - to do with knitting and wool.

It was about 90 minutes and then we received a gift - in this case a set (several sizes) of bamboo knitting needles.

I did hear that some of the focus group participants did not get a gift even though they were originally told that they would.

It was very interesting to hear other people's opinions and didn't take away from the show as my focus group was first thing in the morning

I got an invite to do a focus group. Don't know who for, or what for yet. It's all a big secret. lol I just know when and where to go. I'll let you know how it was when I get back.

How fun! My sister lives in Twentynine Palms & will be attendning CHA. She has been invited to do 2 focus groups. No deets, but it will no doubt be an experience to remember! Congrats & good luck to both of you.

The focus group I attended ended up being one that CHA put together. They wanted to know what we all thought about the Supershow. It ended up being an interesting conversation/discussion. I got a AMEX gift card, so not too shabby!

i participated in 3 in orlando. while very interesting (one was CHA also) and profitable from a supply standpoint it broke up my day a bit too much. fortunately, i live fairly close and ended up going back on the second day so i could see/do all.
i ended up with 2 tote bags of nice product, starbucks gift card and then CHA send a 25.00 check afterward because someone complained that the 5.00 gift card and t-shirt was not in the original request to participate. (they said a 25.00 value). i would do it again.

and, something our group suggested at the CHA focus group about how you picked up will call tickets was implemented on day 2!
