GOOD MORNING! with challenges starting in a couple hours I need to get motivated to work on the scraproom some more...I am almost able to scrap in it again!!!
I am so excited to HOPEFULLY be able to play some this weekend

I am so excited to play with my new MDS -- I am totally new to digi so I'm sorry that I'm out of the starting gate with questions but I know the best way to learn how to do new stuff is on SCS challenges I haven't stamped or scrapped for fun in forever so I can't wait for this VSBN and a little "me" time!

So decrease, say a 12x12 page to 8x8, or decrease the resolution? Or both?
I use PSE so it's the pixel size I have to adjust (I think it's 750-850 pixel size). It depends on your program; you may have a 'button' that automatically makes it ready for 'web' sites.
well today will probably be harder at least until dh gets home and settled. Esp since the sb room is in the part of the house we don't heat so I won't be taking Xander in there. and when it all starts he SHOULD be about ready for a nap! wahoo
Ahhhh, those infant days...not much scrappin' able to get done...I'd be taking a nap with him! Then those toddler years and you don't want to leave yoru things out; it's tough those years. It's nice if DH can give you some down time to play...hopefully we'll see you later :mrgreen:

I'm really looking forward to this, but a little scared! I'm normally a card maker, so doing actual 12x12 pages is gonna be interesting! ;)
I have a TON of photos to scrap, and I'm still working on what my goals are going to be for 2010, so I'm using this weekend as a test drive to see what's realistic for me. I do better with deadlines for some reason. I think it's that whole "it's gotta be done by X so just pick something already!" thing! :-D

Ermm... silly question? I see there will be challenges on Sunday, so what's the No Upload on Sunday rule? I checked the post about the rules/faq but it wasn't very specific. It sounds like you're not supposed to upload on Sunday, but then how do you share your Sunday Challenges?

There is an exemption for VSBN/VSN weekends. Just heard and we should have instant upload ready for the weekend too :-)
Saw your previous post and had to laugh...I feel okay with scrap pages but a little card...never can quite get them right :-)! If 12 x 12 intimidates you try a 8x8 or 9x9...I'm actually more comfortable with them but most of my books are 12x12 so I haven't quite made the switch :-)

Hi, ladies! I'm so excited!!! Watching Lady GaGa on Oprah, charging my camera, charging my net book. I ran to Jewel (at 7:00am) to get healthy snacks( Diet Coke, granola,oranges). First time I actually have the whole weekend planned just for me.
I'm ready too Tam lot of healthy snacks and one not so healthy hopefully I will stay out of it! lol Having a few ladies over tonight to scrap and do the challenges too! Your up at noon Tam I can't wait!

I just remembered that I have Xander duty in the morning while DH works on the farm for his dad. I am taking him over to inlaws after they get home and settled for a little bit so I can come back and work on stuff. HOPEFULLY after church Sunday I can hide in the scraproom.

You can participate whether or not your a digi or a paper or a hybrid scrapper...that's the beauty! If you choose to upload you would just use your digi camera to load your finished page into your computer...then upload and put the KEYWORD of that challenge in the appropriate area.
Feel free to ask questions at anytime...don't be shy! :-)
DH thought it began at 10am and he called me 1/2 hour ago to "bug" me (he knows how much I've been looking forward to this). I panicked, thinking I'd gotten the start time wrong, then when DH realized he was early with his interruption call, he told me he'd call back later to annoy me! Ha. I wasn't planning on answering the phone all day! He's so sweet, though - he's taking over with the 3 girls this weekend! They are 9, 7 and 4 and this is the first time in years that it looks like I can really play the whole weekend. Patience has been a virtue
