Are you short on scrapbooking time? Or perhaps just in a creative rut? Try adapting one of the three creative designs attached below. These layouts and instructions were taken from the January 2009 issue of Scrapbooks Etc. The designers name is above each layout. Each one can be made in minutes. Feel free to follow the directions to the letter or simply adapt the layouts to fit your photos and your scrapping style. These layout use minimal products with a focus on the photos. You may find you prefer to embellish more. I encourage you to scrap to your heart's content. Just remember...the more products you use the more minutes you'll need!
Please use the keywords IFC60 when uploading your layouts to the gallery. You can find all layouts submitted for this challenge HERE

Ok....this is my first "Made In Minutes". 42 Minutes and that was with 2 quick stops. What's really fun is I just picked these picts up from printing this afternoon!
i'm going to try and play every week. i'm a newbie who needs to spend more time in my scroffice (scrapping/office). i saw the challenge and did in in 18 minutes. wahoo! it helps that i had absolutely everything already. Most of the time was spent looking for photos. ;)
Thanx for the inspiration.
 Now if i could only figure out how to upload, life would be good

I've not joined in scrapping projects before. I don''t quite get it- is there a larger version of the pix or directions somewhere? My eyes can't read the tiny print.
So for those of you who used these layouts, how did you use them? I mean, did you sit with your computer next to your scrapping table or what? I am just wondering about the nuts and bolts of making this work. I do like these simple layouts, but I havent' had a chance to use them. Since I saw the the original challenge, I have scrapped 36 complete pages, with embellishments. A lot of the pages were from swaps that I have completed. I am abstaining from swaps at this time, since I have about 100 of them that I haven't been using. I love the simpl;icity of swaps, I can do 10 of one layout in no time, andthen I get 9 different one back.

Leah,
I think most of them are printing out the attachments to make it easier on them.
OK, I did it! I am pretty proud of myself. I did not print off the attachement, it seemed like too much trouble, I just looked at my netbook and went to town. I did the 2 page layout in about 30 minutes, and managed to use up scraps of 4 different papers to make the stripes. I did make some alterations, but I never was good at following the rules. Did anyone else feel like the directions and measurements given didn't really match their final product? Anyway, I loved this layout and I think I will set it aside to remember the form, and use it again and again, in different patterns, etc.

Leah,
They left out the 2 in the instructions on this one. So where it say 1 x there should have been a 2 to make it 12. It took me forever to figure that out. But, it's always okay to make the challenge work for what you have. Thanks for playing the challenge. Did you share it in the gallery?:p
I don't do any digital at all, Denise, I will be doing all the challenges the old fashioned way.
Leah
Leah,
All my pages are done the traditional way- cut and paste etc. I'm no good at digital. Do you have a digital camera that you could use to take a photo of your page and upload it to the gallery? I would love to see what you have created.:p Of course you are under no obligation to share your page if you prefer not too. I have a digital camera but I prefer to use my scanner and scan my layouts in and then upload them to the gallery as opposed to taking a photo of them.

OK, I thought I posted this last night, but I guess not. I have attempted to upload things in the past, and I have such trouble that I have decided my time is better spent scrapping, instead of fighting with my computer. I am so impaired that I have only emailed a photo once in years, so I just gave up on the frustration. Iwill play along, but unless you come to my house (all are welcome, of course) you won't be seeing my layouts:-)
Leah
Not sure if I played correctly or not but here is my take on the challenge. I just looked at the samples Jenn posted and went from there. I used a very limited number of embellies and let the paper be my journaling! TFL
Just getting my second Made for Minutes page in before the new IFC challenge comes out for tomorrow. This one is ...amazingly ... a PAPER page!!!! It's been a long time since I've done one and I wanted to try one for this challenge. So here's my second page for this week's challenge:
