Hi to everyone...I just signed up as a member today after many months of lurking. I just have to say the cards I see are stunning.
I live in NE Ohio ('bout hour south of Cleveland). Originally from California and married a Buckeye so here I be! :-)
One four legged furbaby, Smokey my black lap/springer mix. He's 15 and still my "baby".
I look forward to getting to know some of you and learning so much.
Robin
Where are you from in Ohio? I am from Cuyahoga Falls, next to Akron. I have lived in the south since 61, but still go back to Ohio once a year. I make my annual trip to Hollos Paper Factory in Brunswick. Real close to you. Card stock is $1.25 lb. A;; kinds of sb stuff. You'll have to go if you haven't been. Welcome to SCS.

Hi Janet....thanks for the welcome. I'm not far from CF at all. I'm in Ravenna. We just went to Hollo's a few weeks ago. The prices have gone up to $1.50 a lb but that is still a great price isn't it?

Hi Robin, Glad to hear from you. I was at Hollo's in October. I love going there. I always get paper for my daughters and Grand-daughters. Maybe I can see you next time I come. Have a great week.

I'm by cleveland also and have family in Medina ohio. You have to go to Hobby Lobby if you havn't. Its only about 5 miles from Hollo's. Hobby Lobby is on the same road as Hollo's in Medina. GOTTA LOVE HOLLO's paper.
I'd LOVE to see some Northeast Ohioans at Toyrifix in Smithville! I work very hard to make it the best little stamping store in the area! Just click on the link in my signature!
Location: Hoping to be hiding out in my crafting room!!!

I have shopped at Toyrifix--several times--and it is a very nice place to shop! Tammy stops all the goodies that we "need" for our addiction--I mean hobby! It's worth the drive even if you live more than 30 minutes away! Not only is Tammy helpful, but the entire staff there is so nice and helpful. I think I'm due for another trip. Now to convince my DH that there is something I absolutely NEED! LOL Happy New Year!!!
Hi!!! I'm from Ohio also. I live about an 1-1/2 hour from any where, Columbus, Akron.... And I'm 30-40 minutes from any Michael's or Hobby Lobby. But I have to hear more about Hollo's Paper Factory!!! Can you give me an address so I can map quest it. I want to call some of the girls in my stampin club and plan a road trip to Hollo's. LOL. Several of us go to Akron in April to the Adventures in Stamping Convention. Do you go to it also? I'm like a kid at Christmas the night before we go to the Convention. I can't sleep and when I get home I'm up until 4 am playing with all the goodies I've bought....LOL
Oops...Welcome to SCS and I'm a newbie here too. I should have said that first but I was so excited when I read about Hollo's.

Here is the link to Hollo's website: http://www.hollospapercraft.net/
We do the road trip also...there is a Pat Cattan's down the road and a shopping center real close.
I'm going to try and make it to the Convention in April also. It's like sensory overload there....I go with what I think I HAVE to have and then that all goes right out the window when I get there!!!
Thanks again for the welcome

I worked in Lodi, OH for 4 years and lived in Mansfield and Delaware - but have never heard of Hollo's! My scrappin buddies and I will have to take a road trip out that way to check it out! I live in PA and am about 50 minutes from the line on I-80! Thanks for letting me know about this spot! Do they have a web site?
