Well I just used the snowflake one for 60 Christmas cards...so it's probably been used more than any other folder that I own. I did the ink brayering technique on it and they turned out amazing. The one that I turn to again and again is the swiss dots. Love that...use it for so much. Now that I realized how painless it is to use inks in the folders, I feel like I have a whole other tool option at my hands. The look is really to die for!

Hi Karen,
I read about it on here and here's a link to the Technique challenge Forums at Splitcoaststampers
It's quite simple, essentially you brayer ink on the inside of the cuttlebug folder (only on the top part that will lay on top of your image), put the paper in, put it through the machine and voila you have something that looks like a letterpress image. I was hesitant to try it because I thought it would be messy, but I did this with 65 Christmas cards and just rinsed the ink off the folder at the end...easy peasy. No mess at all. Worked wonderfully with the snowflake image (I used Ballet Blue) as the darker colors were more tempermental for mass production. I would post a picture of my cards, but alas that would involve me getting up and taking a picture and I'm supposed to be writing my holiday letter...shhh don't tell my family that I'm really on SCS!
I'm with the majority in saying swiss dots is my fave! I recently bought a pack of 6 from HSN - here's a link but sadly, they're sold out: http://crafts-sewing.hsn.com/cuttleb...ead*merchzones
I love the snowflakes w/flourishes folder and the plaid folder in that set...also like the fact that 3 of them are 5 x 7 inch size.

I am in total agreement with cullenwr! I love the snowflakes with flourishes and snagged this and the other folders at hsn last month. I am so happy I did so because they are sold out!
Yep...love Swiss Dots....and lots of others.....but the Swiss Dots I can extend the embossing really easily, I can make wedding cards which look super elegant, and I find it a lovely pattern that doesn't "take over" the image I am working with!
I wonder how many there really is out there? I reach for my Swiss Dots regularly. I had to purchase the One of a Kind's at OMC and HSN. Love all the borders too.
D'Vine Swirl, without question. Number two would be a tie between the snowflakes folder and Swiss dots. I LOVE embossing folders - such a quick & easy way to class up a card!
It would have to be snowflake for Christmas and Swiss Dot the rest of the year. Although I use all of the ones I have some time during the year!
Swiss Dots is just so wonderful. I really enjoy every card I've made using the embossing folders. They seem to enhance every design, and they're so easy to use. I love the look and feel of embossing!
So hard to choose. I love all of them. I just looked through the 22 I own and tried to decide, but I kept changing my mind. My top choices would be D'vine Swirls, Birds and Swirls, and Snowflakes.
Swiss dots is my favorite and I own over 80 of them!
When I read this, I thought you meant that you owned 80 Swiss Dots embossing folders and I couldnt figure out why someone who have 80 of them ... now I get it though ... my mind was playing tricks on me! LOL.
It is hard to pick...I love swiss dots too. Quikutz makes a lot of CB folders too. They have the different sized dots. I am sure that there are a lot more than 80 embossing folders out there now. I have two of the Really Useful Boxes FULL of these with more coming. I always order the exclusive sets when I find them and then there is Sizzix, Su, OMC, HSN..so many new ones coming.......I feel like I have more than 80..now I will have to count them...lol
blessings.
