Anyone else cooking up a storm these days? We're having Christmas at my house early this year on Saturday so I'm in a whirlwind. Today's challenge was suggested to me by a challenge participant who would like to remain anonymous. Today we'd love you to take one of your favorite recipes and craft a project around it. The challenge....ways to use Recipes. Unlike last week's challenge in which you just had to be inspired by a Christmas Carol, this challenge asks that you actually incorporate the recipe into your project. We'd love to see it and perhaps even try it out! So whether you create a page for a recipe album, a layout that shares the recipes and some sweet photos, a gift tag that includes the recipe or a card design, let's see some great recipes and fun designs!
Please remember to put WT249 in your keywords section and post a link back here so that we can all see your design. Please feel free to link as many newly uploaded creations as you wish.
Sorry I don't have a sample as of yet. Migraine yesterday took care of that but I'm hoping to play along today as soon as I can.
Julia, what a timely challenge! It just so happens that I am in the process of making pumpkin bread as gifts for my neighbors. I've got the boxes finished, but I have to start baking the bread. Here is one of my Pumpkin Bread Boxes -- along with the recipe.
Oh, how fun! In between baking, I will see what I can come up with. I am in the midst of pie crust right now that I will make and freeze. My table has 6 bowls of half done mix that will produce 5 crusts each. But...I don't think this will be the inspiration. Be back later.
Okay...I had to STRETCH myself for this one...And, today's the first day of Christmas vacation, so I'm wondering just how much holly jolly I can stand...lol!
So timely - I bought the cider for this this morning. Still have enough left from last year to make some pies this evening - I add brandy if I'm keeping it over for the following year: Mincemeat for Christmas
Showing my warped sense of humor HERE! And the recipe on the INSIDE...

Fun challenge, Julia. I did what I usually do if a friend requests a recipe. I try to make a special recipe card.....granted, it won't fit into the standard recipe box tho'!

I am a member of a paper guild in MS. One of our recent projects was
a booklet made from toilet tissue rolls. I decorated mine for Christmas and
added cookie and candy recipes for little happys for friends in gift baskets.
