What: The 2010 Christmas Card Challenge

How: All you have to do is complete 10 Christmas/Hanukkah cards each month (January through November) and you’ll have plenty of cards to send out for the holidays!! (If you don’t need 110 cards, that’s fine, you can set your monthly goal for however many you’ll need, or if you’d like, you can make Christmas thank you cards or gift card holders once you’ve finished with your greeting cards; however, please make sure they are Christmas/Hanukkah-themed. Just post a reply to this thread saying that you want to join and then start stamping!

You can join anytime during the year. The idea is NOT to stress. If you need to skip a month or two, that is perfectly fine. Remember, the whole idea behind this challenge is to make your life easier. We all know how busy December can be, so why not try to get one project, your holiday cards, all done by the end of November!?!

Make your cards any way you like - make them all the same or mix them up. You decide- after all, these are YOUR cards.

****RULES...PLEASE READ!!***

Checking in: Each month, once your 10 cards are complete, upload your photos to your gallery (please use CCC10 in the title so that others can search) and post a message to the thread that will be set up for each month. In the past there was some confusion because several of the months had more than one thread started. Therefore, please use only the thread that I start for each month or you might be missed.

As an incentive, there will be a small monthly prize. At the end of each month, everyone who has completed their cards for that particular month will have their name put into a drawing for a small incentive prize. At the end of November, if you have completed each month, your name will be put in a drawing for the "year-end prize basket”.

So, let's make sure we are prepared for Christmas 2010 and let’s get stamping!! :-D

Love the DP on that!!! We can count those as your January contribution!!! Good job getting a head start. I usually start mine right after Christmas and during Winter Break (I'm a teacher) I get a couple of months head start.

Hi everyone, please can you sign me up for 2010 Pammers.

This years Christmas challenge was my first one ever and got me hooked on SCS which has led to 'meeting' so many lovely, generous people in this crafting family.
I make about 160 Christmas cards (which I love doing :-) ) so spreading it over the year makes it far less frantic now when there are so many other things to get done. I am soooo pleased with myself (so is DH!!!)for getting ahead and keeping sane this year so a BIG thank you to EmGee458 for all her hard work hosting 2009 and good luck Pammers with the 2010 challenge. :-)

Welcome. Wow...you do have your hands full with the little ones! The cards you're working on now can count as long as you plan on using them for Christmas 2010. Make sure you set your monthly goal and just report for each month when you have finished your goal. I will be setting up the monthly thread about mid-December.

The way it worked this year.....we posted for each month on the "thread of the month" (there was a January, a separate one for Feb...you get the idea)....just anytime during. As for the number....you can do 10 or whatever you figure you need. This is such a wonderful challenge....because it is to your benefit!
