Has anyone purchased the new Cricut duffel bag that fits the expression? I ran across it on the Walmart website and was thinking about buying it, but can't seem to find any additional pictures or reviews of it. If you have it, do you like it?
Which bag are you referring to? Can you post a link? I will be traveling to my sister's and want to bring my Cricut so they can try it. I saw a rolling duffle on Amazon but it's out of stock and doesn't show the price. I like that it rolls but didn't care for the color.
Walmart had a Cricut regular looking shoulder bag and a couple of sports duffles. Is there something new?
I have it. I like it for transportation and keeping the dust off my machine when I'm not using it. I will say it does not have any padding for protection. I have the original machine and like the fact that you can adjust the size of the bag to fit it. I also like the fact that you have two ways to carry the bag with the regular handles and the detachable shoulder strap. Hope this helps!
Thank you all. That rolling tote at JoAnn's looks really nice, but yeah, the price is just a little high for me. I will have to check out the tool boxes too. For those that asked, here is a link to the Walmart info page.
I agree with the comments on the WM site. The E is a tight fit. You will have to learn how to get it in & out, but you will be able to do it. And there is no room for cartridges or anything.
It's great if you store your E in one room but use it in another and/or want to keep it dust-free. It's easy to carry the E around in this bag, and it takes up much less space than the box, too. It doesn't hold anything else, though, not even the cords & such, so I don't think it'd be the best thing for those who go to crops or leave the house often with their machine.
Weighing the pros & cons, I'm still glad I bought the bag.

I have to agree, there is no room in the bag for anything else but the E, however it makes it so much easier to carry that it is totally worth it. I am the only one on our group that has the E so I bring mine all the time and the bag makes transportation much easier.
I do wish there was room for the cords and cartridges but if you snug up one end of the E in the bag you can slide the cords in the other end and I usually just bring my 6 fave or requested cartridges in my jukebox and I am fully packed to go.
Cost wise it is much cheaper than any other alternative that I saw out there.
I have it, too. The Expression is a very snug fit, but it does fit. RDeaton is right about there being no padding!
I read on the Cricut boards that some gals bought Kobalt toolboxes at Lowe's that fit the E perfectly. Lots of protection there!
This rolling bag from Joann's also got great reviews for hauling the E, but it's very expensive.
I went out and bought the toolbox. It was the same price as the duffel bag and has a little bit extra room - and I think it is safer and possibly easier to carry. I guess I've never tried, but I would think that big duffel bag with the E in it might be a little uncomfortable for someone as short as me. Plus, I didn't have to wait for it to be shipped!

I use the Kobalt toolbox, as do a LOT of the women in my scrapbooking circle. We love it!! So safe for the Expression. Very packable, because you can pack things on top since it is squared off and very durable. DH loves it and thinks it's cool that the ladies who went with it are not more into the look, but the durable safety aspect. It works great on hotel luggage carts at retreats....all the soft stuff goes on top.
I like the bags on cricutmachine.com better they are more padded and they are around 50 to 60 dollars. They roll on wheels and have a handle on the end plus the shoulder strap.

Oy! I have an exsisting order from black friday with cricutmachine and am having tons of problems. customer service that doesn't call back, double bills, and still don't have my merchandise.
Thanks for the warning 3girls. I almost bought the tote from them with a Gypsy. I'm glad I went with Custom Crops instead (for the gypsy, didn't get the tote). I read Cricutmachine's shipping policy that says once an item has shipped it is no longer their responsibility. So if it never gets to you you lose out unless you request a different shipping method.
