Default Big shot and Spellbinders Pendants Help

I bought the Spellbinders Fleur de Lis pendant die to use with my Big Shot. I am following the recipe Spellbinders recommends for cutting and embossing but I can't get the darn thing out of the die without tearing it apart! I have tried using designer paper, Whisper White CS and also Shimmery White CS all with the same results even when I spray the paper with Wonder "whatever" spray. Any suggestions before I trashcan this pendant die?????

When building your sandwich between the die and the cardstock, stick a piece of waxed paper. Run the die thru to cut and then run thru to emboss and it will come out so much easier! If you still have problems, pm me!!

I use the wax paper trick too. And in my BS I had to add another layer of cs for a thicker paper shim. And one more trick that REALLY helped: Make one pass thru the Big Shot, then turn the die 90 degrees and make another pass. Cleanly cuts every time!!
