I have had limited success but you have to put your printer on the best/photo setting because this setting lays down a lot of ink. Next, I have my embossing powder open and ready to go because as soon as it's finished you need to pull the paper out and dump on the EP. If there are any places where the EP didn't stickafter heat setting, I go over those places with my embossing pen and add some more EP and reheat set.
I found that as PJW2855 said, glossy paper works best but I have get decent results with any paper that has a coating - not the less expensive Georgia Pacific or similar.
